January 11, 2020This is a final updated review.As of my August 8th, 2019, I'd almost used a ream of paper. Since then, I've continued printing onto my second ream of paper and with my printer's LED constantly on, indicating "CARTRIDGE VERY LOW". Until this week, print quality was very good, although I did have to remove and shake the cartridge twice during this time period. Print quality has turned very poor & not printing major portions of a page. So, the cartridge is definitely at the point where it needs to be replaced. I managed to use up about 3/4 of the second ream of paper, which far exceeded my previous expectations. Thus, if you ignore the premature "CARTRIDGE VERY LOW" LED warning light, the cartridge will get close to its rated print capacity of 1000 sheets. I'm very happy with this product and am revising my rating back to my original 5 stars.===============================This is an update to my initial review below which was made on August 8, 2019.As of this week, my HP printer's LED came on, indicating "CARTRIDGE VERY LOW".This toner cartridge has been in my HP printer for only two months. I've printed often and only text documents. I have not printed any photos/images other than those images that were part of printed documents. I've printed slightly less than 3/4 of a ream of paper (less than 500 sheets). The print capacity of this cartridge is 1000 sheets. Although the toner is not completely empty and the print quality is still good, I think it's safe to say that this toner will come far short of its rated print capacity.I am disappointed and am lowering the rating from 5 stars down to 3 stars.===================August 8, 2019This is an initial review and not based on extensive use.I'd purchased the product early and well in advance of my original cartridge being depleted. The price was great. I got two toner cartridges for less than the price of a singe OEM HP replacement cartridge. It was delivered early.When I got them, I opened one to check fitment and print quality. The new toner cartridge dropped in easily and fit perfectly. Print quality was very good. I, then, removed it and set it aside to be used when my original cartridge got depleted which finally happened this week.I've been printing with the new cartridge extensively for a week and have had no problems. Print quality is consistent and very good.The print capacity for these Linkyo cartridges is rated the same as for the OEM HP cartridges - 1000 pages. This item appears to be relatively new on Amazon and has only two reviews, none of which mentioned extensive printing. I'm expecting the Linkyo cartridges to print around or close to the 1000 page rating. If they fall really short of that, I will update my review. Other than this disclaimer, I'm a Happy Camper and do highly recommend this product!

I have been buying Linkyo cartridges over the years. I notice no difference between the "label ink" and this one. It is not miserly with the ink, and last a long time. I have not had trouble with smudging of ink, or blobs, or loose powder. Print is always crisp. I have had to buy different printers over the years, sometimes try the colored printers, however their ink containers run out quickly, even if I print grey scale, the black one runs out much quicker.The cartridge fits and slides in easily, perfect fit. I will continue buying these, they are a great value.

Unfortunately, I did not check the box right after it was delivered. I kept it until I needed to change my original cartridge. And now, when I open it, there was only one cartridge in the box and the plastic package of the other one was ripped off. Very disappointed.

Awesome replacement for my brand new ho laser printer. Referred by my mom who uses for two other brand printers and she’s been very happy for a couple years for sure.

I've tried other 3rd party toners with my HP m28w, and its been hit and miss. With other toners, I get "memory supply error" which means the printer can't read the chip on the toner. Other 3rd party toners don't check if their toner chips are updated. Not with Linkyo. I'll be sticking with Linkyo for my m28w from now on.
