Easy to install. Would have to pay 3-4 times more at a garage or dealership in addition to the 1 hour minimum labor charge. It took less than 20 minutes to install.

Purchased this for my 2006 MB E350 sedan. The 3.5 liter E350 uses two of these filters by the way. Order arrived quickly and installed easily. I compared this filter to the $13 store brand at Kragens/OReillys. The Kragens brand had sloppy rubber seal molding that interfered with the filter material and it clearly didn't have much attention to detail during manufacturing. The Fram appeared to be well made, although cheaper than the OEM in every respect including materials and price. I am confident that it will do the job at a much lower cost and recommend it. If it was as well made as stock I would give it 5 stars, but thats why its cheaper.

Very similar to the orig Mann OEM w/Mercedes cars, paid about the same so figured I'd try Fram. Beware of K&N and Green, they are half the depth, so maybe offer more airflow, but at an obvious tradeoff of poor filtering and with K&N, the need to oil to try to improve performance. Some of these collapse due to their thin design, and oil can foul sensor. Most folks don't get any benefit from higher airflow unless they are at very high rev's, and delude themselves into believing they are getting better hp or pickup-unlikely based upon empirical evidence.

I have always used Fram filters because they do their job well in my opinion. I usually find that the cheaper air filters tend to be more flimsy and made of material that would let some smaller particles get through, and honestly the more expensive filters aren't any better than these. These are top quality filters that are priced reasonably.

Fram make great air filters. I have been using them for years on end.

Must have two making these very expensive look for others.

One would expect like the Mann filters, that since 2 are needed, they would come in pairs. Not so. They become pretty expensive if you reorder for second filter.
