Gorgeous
(For the color changing Holographic) Read the other reviews for directions, it really helps - basically don't brush it on, spray it in multiple coats. The more coats you apply the stronger the effect. I love the look of this paint. I used about 7-10 thin coats and it looks awesome. Really looks out of this world when a bright direct light in shined on it. Has an awesome but subtle effect in normal lighting. Looks kind of frosty. Has a really smooth finish so I did not use a clear coat over it.

More realistic chrome out of a spray can
I had been looking for a realistic chrome that was easy to apply and worked well on plastic. After trying numerous other brands I can safely say Spazstix MIrror chrome is by the best bang for you buck. I spray this over the Black Backer and couldn't be happier with the result. This is my go to paint for Chrome / metal. The photos attached are a 3D printed in PLA plastic.

Requires the right lighting conditions
It’s ok- better than other hologram paints on the market but it still requires bright/direct light (like sunlight) to really see the color shift. But in diffused light or indoor ambient light it looks more silver than hologram.

Works great!
Works over almost any color, does not work well over white. White requires a lot of layers. Black under color is the best to work with. Very fumey for airbrush paint, really need to open a window or have a fan going. Smells just like spray paint.

If you use this for a metallic look, it only takes a really light coat and looks awesome. Works best over darker colors with a heavy clear coat. Will last a long time, I have done many 1/24 scale car models and still have over half a bottle left. Allot of bang for your buck. LOVE IT...

Best translucent paint I've ever used outside of the professional scene.
Product needs to be in sunlight or very well lot area to get true effect. It works VERY well when paired with the correct backer. If you prime the surface first, for the love of god, use a high gloss backer before throwing this down. It's important to have the gloss on the undercoat.

not a lot of shimmer/sparkle/holo effect - needs lots of ventilation
This is truly like watered-down nailpolish. I have worked with a bunch of different airbrush sprays and mediums and this is not something I would put in my airbrush because it's a solvent-based paint- more of an enamel (complete with the strong smell- you need PROFESSIONAL ventilation if you will be spraying this) than any sort of airbrush paint. If you do apply with a brush, be prepared to sacrifice your brush as the paint will not wash out with brush soaps/water and most solvents designs to remove this type of paint will destroy a good paintbrush. And even when applying in very tiny amounts with a brush to projects, this paint really stunk up the whole space with a lot of ventilation (I'm always using different paints and enamels and inks in here and NOTHING has been quite as strong as this paint, even in very very small amounts.)Also, the sparkle is super subtle- you need several coats to get a good effect, and even then, it's not much. You have to be in bright light and move the item around to see the effect. I have gotten better results with glitter-based craft paints. I was hoping this would provide a nice smooth coverage with good shimmer, but it doesn't unless you apply A LOT of coats, and even then, it's not much.I was hoping for a water-based airbrush paint that would provide a holographic effect (or a rainbow sparkle) effect with a few coats, but this is a whole lot of solvent/enamel with not a lot of sparkle.
