This book has a lot of good information in it in regards to how to train, groom, and show your Shih Tzu. It also has pertinent information about whether or not you want to buy this breed, how to choose a veterinarian, what kind of medical issues you may run into, etc. It is well worth the money. I have owned two Shih Tzus before this, had a lot of information about them, and still learned new, good information.

This is a great book about shih tzus.

It supplies a lot of information about the specific breed. I was glad that I purchased the book. After reading the book, I purchased the dog and knew a lot about what to expect and how to handle each situation.

This was gift so can’t evualate other than say the receiver was very satisfied and happy with the book and said it it was very informative. Based on my daughter’s response i am sure she would give it a high rating Which I gave in her behalf

To be able to know how to train a shitzu puppy. It helped a lot. It's very informative and I liked that.

Although it would have been good to show the hand position in pictures for obedience training. Otherwise a very thorough book. Definitely worth purchasing

I was hoping for more interesting facts & training skills on Shih Tzu puppies & this book is fine for someone who has not had a pet before, I found the information very basic. Good for 1st time pet owner.

The book has plenty of good information about the breed and interesting facts. But I was hoping to get more "how to" and what to do if your Shih Tzu does this or that.Now I'm Googling if I have problems with my 4 month old puppy to understand to reasons behind a particular behavior,

I felt it was a good overall explanation of the breed, how they act and learn as they grow up. It does mention that they are hard to train and can also be quite demanding and I have found both of those very true. Having said that I would not want to part with my dog as he is an excellent companion and very affectionate.

This book is a brilliant read for anybody buying a Shih Tzu for the first time. I have just bought my second Shih Tzu after looseing my first aged 12. I wish I had read this book before then.

Absolutely loved this book. Waiting to collect my first ever puppy, so have been quite anxious but this has helped a lot with preparation and the future ❤😊🐶
