A wonderful book to read to young readers; grade level readers can read alone and will love it!
A sweet story about a puppy who lands the best job of all his littermates - he becomes a facility dog (dog in residence) for a Ronald McDonald house. Making kids happy, even for a day, is something dogs love. Here Mogie gets to do it all of the time! Having three dogs of my own that provide animal assisted activity visits and therapy work with kids, it's easy to see they joy in a child's eyes when the dog is so excited to see them. The power of the human-animal bond is only now being quantified by research, but those who love dogs have known this all along.

Wonderful Story for Families Dealing With Cancer
I bought this book for my great niece and her family. She is getting treatment for leukemia and they stay at the Ronald McDonald House. This story is about a little dog who becomes a mascot at the Ronald McDonald House. My niece's family stays at the Ronald McDonald when she is in the hospital for treatments. I thought she would enjoy reading it to the younger kids whose families stay there.

Mogie is such a sweetheart; not only in the book but in "real life". He has the ability to know each and every person's inner feelings and responds accordingly. What a blessing Houston's Ronald McDonald House is to many people; Mogie just makes it all the more special.

This is such a heartwarming book. My kids love it. It's a great way to expose kids to the idea of helping others. My oldest daughter (4) wants to to anything she can to help the sick children at Ronald McDonald house.

Sweet story
Such a sweet story about a dog that thankfully found a home that was perfect for him and the purpose he was born for.
