I love this soundbar, we have had it for a couple of months now and I love how much of a difference it makes compared to before. It is not too big which is something that we really did not want, but it gets super loud as if it is a complete theater set. We love it!

We have a large room with lots of glass and marble flooring, not good for sound. This bar made all the difference. The Bose we tested was horrible. This was less money and far better sounding. It's perfect for movies; clears the speech yet gives you punch for the effects and music. This is not a mighty sound system, but it provides very clear voice with added support.

Note: I've had this for about 15 months now. It's placed in my bedroomWhat I like: sleek design. Blends in. The sub works like a champ, My better half always wants it lowered. The sound bar is very easy connecting and some movies give the illusion of surround sound. The remote is easy to figure out.What I don't like: No ' built in equalizer ' yeah, there are ways to adjust sound but I'd prefer the equalizer. There is no way to know what level the sub is on. When you adjust the volume, just lights flashes but it doesn't let you know you're maxed out or not.All in all its a nice system, no malfunctions whatsoever. Sometimes there's a second or two delay in connectivity but it's not a big deal to me. Won't ruin anything. At current price if I had to do it all over again, I might look around more but of it was a few bucks less, it's worth getting for a midsized to smaller room..

Excellent sound quality with clear voice, rich bass, and adjustable sound levels for voice, bass, movie, music, and night mode. While not a replacement for a surround sound system, it outperforms the speakers on a Samsung TV.

Smaller than I thought it would be but definitely proving to be a fantastic purchase

I’m 2 purchases in for this model. Both units have the same issues:• loses Bluetooth connectivity often in the middle of music playing• random poor sound quality as if the speakers are blown (lo-fi quality with no Trebles or Mids) which requires a full unplugging from the wall in order to rectify issue• doesn’t automatically connect to device• connectivity will “skip” like the good ole days of scratched CDs in the middle of music playing• poorly madeHonestly, you’re better off saving your money and getting a Sonos. I know they’re expensive, but believe me it’s worth the money.

Sound quality is wonderful. Perfect level of bass, mids and treble. You can adjust the bass to your liking. Setup was easy. Plug and play. Keep up the good work Denon!

Sounds a lot better than the cheaper soundbars out there for around the same price. Not as good as my Definitive Technology w Studio in the living room but at 1/3 the price, it sounds at least 90% as good. Could use a dialogue boost function or a dedicated center channel (which would add to the price of course) as dialogue sounds a bit weak in some movies or TV shows. Also could use a smart volume feature as the commercials while watching TV are always a LOT louder but this is a problem that is not unique to this product. Easy to setup and quite a few options for connectivity including optical, rca, and bluetooth. Overall a great value especially for bedroom or office use. Maybe not quite powerful enough for living room (if your living room is huge like mine is).
