Friedrich CCF06A10A 16" Air Conditioner with 6000 BTU Cooling Capacity Energy Star Certified 3 Fan Speeds and 24 Hour Timer

This window ac unit is so very quiet and efficient! It is able to maintain a very stable room temp making my living room comfortable. I replaced a 10,000 btu perfect aire with this Friedrich 6,000 btu. The Friedrich is so so so much better! Well worth spending a bit more.

An update to my previous review.We are in fact, getting the same gurgling/vibration interior fan noise that’s mentioned in so many of these reviews. Unit is less than a week old. The seller, Appliances Palace was straight ahead and offered full refund. Freidrich was useless. Our unit makes the sound for a while then calms down, or sometimes doesn’t make it at all. We’ve decided to live with it due to its strong cooling capabilities. I would recommend, if you want Freidrich, to get Chill and not Premier. From all the reviews these units not made as well

In michigan only use for 3 months at a time per year. Bought in April 2021, May 2023 broken!! Got PP error on screen and shut down. WIFI user interface being changed weekly and written very poorly. My first and last experience with this lousy brand. Texas, I should have known better. Excessively loud and un reliable unit, never buy this brand!!!TOTAL CRAP!!!!!!!

We’ve only used this unit a few times, but so far so good. It might be too soon to review it?For a room AC, it’s pretty powerful. Noise level is ok.The only problem we’ve had is that the display lights cannot be turned down or off, and there’s a Green blinking light (internet?) inside the machine that is visible when the lights are out. We had to use painter’s tape and a small piece of cardboard to put over the display so we would have a fully-dark room at night while running it.It was a little difficult to get the filter out to clean it, too.Otherwise it was easy to install, and the insulation went in well.

This Friedrich unit looks and works great - good controls on the unit. The remote control with LCD is OK, but I would opt for a simpler remote without the LCD screen, if one was available. The initial wi-fi setup is a little clumsy - you have to push a button on the remote 6 times within 6 seconds, and look for 'CF' to show up on the AC display. If you cannot get this to happen, or if the code comes up and then goes away, you need to unplug the unit, wait maybe 30 seconds, and then start again. Once the wifi and Frriedrich app are set up and configured, the app interface looks very good.

First this was a challenge to sink the WiFi instructions it says to hit the display button 6 times and the CF will appear that did not happen. Before returning it I decided to go on line and watch a video that had the same issue he said that he had to hit the mode button after he hit the display button six time and the AC was off when doing this. It worked!! Also found out if the AC is on auto you can’t turn the temperature up or down, it is set on 73 , but you can change the temperature in all other settings cool etc so that’s fine ..over all now that I know this I do like the ac unit and will be keeping it

The air conditioner was a bit difficult to install. But, now that it is in my window, it works very well.
