Con air Fabric Shaver
I absolutely love this shaver! I bought the shaver because my couch material keeps balling up in certain spots, especially around the sides and the corners and I used the fabric shaver on it and it worked amazing! It’s quick and easy and simple to use!!! My last fabric shaver didn’t work half as good as this one. You can actually see the line from where it has shaved. This is a great product for the money.

Saved My Sweater!
Conair's Fabric Defuzzer is a must-have for everyone's laundry room. I tested this little gizmo out on the sweater that I wore the day I met my fiance. It was horrifying to look at: the sweater was covered in lint and was pilling awfully. I couldn't wear it like this, but I couldn't bear to part with it for sentimental reasons. The Conair Defuzzer is battery operated. No real point in telling you this, except to say that this device does not come with batteries. You will need to have 2 AA batteries and install them. Look for the sticker inside the battery compartment to know which end faces which way when you drop in the AAs.I did not adjust the distance controller when I used the defuzzer for the first time. I used the device "just out of the box" with its preset settings. You want to make sure you work with the garment laid out on a smooth, hard surface. I used the kitchen table. I began by making short, light strokes going down "the grain" of the fabric. I had to apply a bit more pressure because my sweater has a cable knit pattern that creates areas that are higher than others. It worked insanely well! I started to think about everyone in the house..... they all have closets.... they all wear clothes... Could I get others to give me THEIR clothes to fix? Yeah, it was addictive for the first ten exhilarating minutes. I watched as the defuzzer transformed my sweater from unwearable to wearable! I kept working in this manner, making longer strokes down the garment to remove the pilling and lint. If a section had a stubborn piece of lint, I didn't make a sweep over it, I gently but firmly pressed the defuzzer down on that spot until the offender was lifted off (about one or two presses did the trick.)My sweater has delicate, rope-like knit sections that give it a lacy look. I was uneasy using the defuzzer on areas this delicate. I couldn't wear a half clean sweater, though! I took those areas and laid them over the top of my open hand and very gently used the defuzzer to remove the lint.NOTE: You want to make sure that any loose threads are secured or avoided altogether, otherwise the defuzzer may accidentally pull the fabric and make it worse. On a heavily pilled garment, you'll hear the units motor starts to slow down a little bit. You may notice, as I did, that the unit is not working as well. This is the point where you stop, turn the unit off, and clean the lint out of it. There's nothing wrong with the defuzzer, it just needs the fabric remnants cleaned out of it. Pull down the detachable lint collector and shake it out. Grab the stuff that's blocking up the opening to the unit, too. There will probably be a lot stuck there. When you're all finished restoring your garment, make sure to clean the defuzzer out one more time. I used a q-tip to gently get the lint that was clumped up inside the unit. Next, go outside, turn the device on, and let it blow out any remaining lint inside that you couldn't reach with the q-tip. (Make sure you don't have the unit pointed toward your face. I didn't do that. I SWEAR I didn't do that....) Place the lint collector back on the device and wipe the outside plastic part down with a soft cloth before storing it in its original packaging and putting it away. You may want to remove the batteries as well, and store them in a plastic sandwich baggie, placing those in the box, too, if you think you won't be using the defuzzer for a long period of time.Overall grade: for the money spent, A+! Wish I'd bought this sooner!

Works wonders
This shaver is amazing. Initially bought it for the couch, as some of the areas have started shedding and having balls. I used it and it worked amazingly well. Had a smooth couch. It’s very easy to use and a great value for money. Since it’s battery operated, you do not need to worry about charging it. I’ve heard it works well on sweaters, I’m yet to try that. To clean the lint off is very easy. Do get it! Great value for money.

Works Beautifully on RH Cloud
I purchased this product to remove pilling from my RH Cloud Sofa in the Perennial Twill fabric, not sure how well it would work. It worked better than I expected, helping to renew the look of my cushions. It has three settings for how close it should shave to the fabric, allowing you to ease in to using it. It does take an unusual amount of time to charge, but other than that I am pleasantly surprised. If you don't mind changing batteries, you may consider the battery powered option which is about half the price as well. ($30 vs. $15).

This is the one
I was skeptical about this lint shaver, so I bought two other ones to compare.I originally had a small Evercare lint shaver that just was not effective. I have this expensive blanket that is really nice except that it sheds like a husky in summer, so I needed an upgrade. I bought this one first based on price and reviews. I needed something with a big head because I’d be using it on a king size blanket, both sides, which is pretty time consuming. On first impression this shaver is very light weight, making it feel cheap, but so far it has held up and the lightness makes it comfortable to use. I assume the lack of weight comes mostly from a relatively small battery compared to others, more on that later. It’s a simple device and doesn’t require unnecessary design features, so a minimal build is good, but does have caveats. The lint compartment is definitely too small, which is one thing that led me to try others. Ultimately, it works better so more frequent emptying is just going to have to be worth the effort. The other two shavers I bought both were dual head designs, because I figured double the surface area would cut my time using it. I got the BREEZOME and the VASSON, both of which were well made and effective, but just didn’t perform as well as this single head Conair. The others each had their pros and cons, but it all came down to which one provided the best results in the least amount of time without damaging the fabric. To my surprise, it came back to this one for one simple reason, the design of the screen on the shaver head. This one has LARGE HEXAGONAL holes all across it surface, and that makes ALL the difference. The others either had circular holes and/or a combination of large and small holes and just didn’t perform as well.Back to the battery - while others had a much higher battery capacity and lasted longer while unplugged, it again came down to performance. The Conair can be used while plugged in, which is less convenient, especially when using it on a king size blanket. BUT, it just worked so well that I’m willing to put up with that.

Works Well
My pillows have been pilling for a while, so I decided to do a bit of research on fabric shavers. Reviews lead me to choose this one. My pillows are now pill and fuzz free and feel like new again. The only real con is that the lint catcher is rather small; sometimes the lint builds up at the opening to the catcher instead of going inside the catcher. Also, it can take a moment to get it back on correctly once you've removed it. Other than that, it works wonderfully.

Buena utilidad
Este producto me resultó muy útil y de buenos materiales, falta unas pequeñas mejoras como por ejemplo que el almacén de pelusa de puede sacar con mucha facilidad dando como resultado un accidente de pelusa regada, pero de ahí en fuera todo bien
