While this does seem to work, it's not worth the money for 99.9% of anyone that it's marketed to. There is as far as I can tell no documentation on this exact PCB. If you know what you're doing, you will google the markings on the IC's, but that still only gets you so far, you still have to ohm it out and find what pins go where. It's really too bad, because this does work (as far as I can tell), but I had to almost reverse engineer this for any functionality and I would have known that if I just read the reviews before buying it.I'm hoping the company will add documentation and if so I will change my rating to what it potentially deserves, if not, this is what it deserves.

It looks like a great product for a great price, but there is absolutely no way to find out how to use it. The search engine on the Gikfun website will not pull it up, so there is no documentation. There are no pinout markings on the tiny board, so it is a complete waste of time and money. I will update this with a real review of the product if and when I am able to get some documentation.

1. cant find any documentation for instructions with this exact module.2. when i wire it according to other mp3 modules it doesnt work at all]Edit: because i was determined i tinkered with different wirings of the module and eventually got to a way (that no other mp3 module uses) to get sound to play out of the module. photos of how to are attached. i dont know how yet to make the sound better cause it isnt exactly the best sound output. thats why i changed to a 4 star because it definitely works if you can wire it right
