Where do I begin? Sigh... I wanted to love this mattress because of the reviews. The reviews completely sold this product. I really wish people would be brutally honest and perhaps wait a few days before immediately reviewing out of impulse. Anyway, I was moving to a new place and didnt want to drag out my huge 12" heavy multilayered quilted Sealy mattress. This smart packaging seemed so interesting, convenient and discreet! A mattress rolled and vacuum sealed into a box? Say what?? Yes and yes.Ok onto the review... Had this for about a little over two weeks by the way.The packaging was definitely hassle free and I was able to get it into my home without help. I had a bed bug fear because its online, who knows where its coming from but this mattress was wonderfully protected. No worries there. Yes its heavy but definitely not backbreaking. Honestly I bearhugged the box and pulled it in. The instructions are straight to the point, lay it flat (I placed it on my box spring) use the mail opener thing (comes with the bed) to slice the plastic wrap open, and pop goes the mattress slowly regaining its shape.Lets get candid here though...Aesthetics:This mattress is definitely a step down from the more expensive heavier mattresses and that will take some getting used to. 8 inches tall sounds pretty normal but honestly it looks very very thin. If you have one of those beds that dont require a box spring, your bed is going to be extremely short. Some people like that but I personally prefer to be high off of the ground due to seasonal allergies and I stand 5'7" tall. The grey and white color scheme looks very pleasing to the eye.Feel:The springs within will never fully recover from getting pressed flat and rolled into a box. I let it "breathe" for 4 days. When I run my fingers along the perimeter of the mattress, I can feel the springs bulging outwards as if a 750 pound man owned and used this mattress for a decade. This bed doesnt squeak, its noise-free, so have fun love birds. The topper is soft to the touch, very smooth under my fingers, but thin and almost non existent. The mattress as a whole is stiff as a stale cinnamon bagel. I love a firm but still comfortable bed but this here is next level. I'm typically a side or stomach sleeper but now Idk what I am... My leg will literally go numb if I sleep on my side for too long. I fear that I'll have hip issues in the future. If I lay on my stomach then I get bad lower back pain. If I lay on my back, it takes very long to sleep and I wake up with neck and shoulder pain. How about I just lay down in rush-hour traffic perhaps? This bed doesnt form to my curves, so my body is cold pressed against this brick wall of a bed. I don't have restless leg syndrome or any other health issues but this bed is causing major insomnia due to discomfort.I would not recommend this mattress to a loved one unless they were extremely desperate. Obviously cant return it to a UPS store to send back. Gosh what a waste of money!!

Zero Softness- Can Feel Every Spring!
Had never purchased a mattress online, but I've heard others have been happy with a "bed in a box" sort of mattress and I was buying for a youth bed, so figured I would give it a try. Bad Idea!I read the reviews. Most people seemed quite pleased with this mattress. I thought one reviewer was being overly dramatic with a negative review. Loo Who from Whoville reviewed in Jan 2019 with a title, "Like sleeping on a pile of scrap metal covered in cotton balls". That seemed in such contrast to other people's reviews that I figured that reviewer was just in a bad mood or something. I figured wrong. It was entertaining to open this mattress. It comes quite compact and is rolled up super tight. I followed another reviewer's instructions to make sure Not to cut the mattress when opening the packaging. There was a nifty little tool that came with the mattress that helped to slit the packaging without damaging the mattress. I'd give the little tool a five star rating. It was helpful. We made sure the mattress wouldn't pop open and slam into anything. It was interesting to see it immediately go from wrapped tight like a sleeping bag to the shape of a mattress. Other people had mentioned that it could take a couple of days for the mattress to fully "inflate". Something must have been wrong with the one we recieved. I don't think it ever "inflated".So back to the reviewer who said it was like sleeping on a pile of scrap metal covered in cotton balls. I think that our mattress was lacking the cotton balls. Maybe if we'd got the cotton balls it would have been better.I think that the contrast between reviews on the product probably comes down to what people are used to in their previous mattress. If you are sleeping on a 20 year old mattress and it is sunken and springs sticking out everywhere, then this certainly would be an improvement. Hubby and I sleep on a $2,000 mattress and it is absolutely perfect in every way. This is not a several thousand dollar mattress. It is fairly inexpensive. So, for what you pay, you almost get what you pay for. I would have been happy if I could feel any cushion at all on top of those springs. But, I couldn't. All I could feel was springs. I think even the kids deserve better than that. But, 20 years ago, when we were just starting out and were sleeping on the 20 year old mattress with the springs sticking out everywhere, I probably would have felt like I was sleeping on a cloud with this mattress. It all comes down to what you had in the past and what you are used to. At this point in my life, I think this mattress falls closer to the pile of scrap metal covered in cotton balls, except that they forgot the cotton balls on the one they mailed us.We had only had the mattress about 2 weeks when I called amazon about a return. There clearly was no way to stuff the mattress back into its original packaging which I'm sure can only be done with the machinery at the manufacturer. However; to our pleasant surprise, that was not necessary. Amazon can process a return without the mattress in its original packaging. They processed it immediately for me. So five stars for amazon.Sadly, just one star for the mattress itself!

like it !
When I received the mattress, it was compressed into a small one, and I enjoyed the process of opening it. The mattress was of good quality and comfortable. When you lie on it, it feels like a hardness that suits you. I don't like it too hard or soft, so I recommend it.

Nice concept
I wanted to love this product. I was very impressed with its prompt delivery and packaging. I have slept on it for 9 nights and the springs hurt my back. That’s the gamble with ordering a mattress from the web I suppose. I hope the seller can make good on the purchase and I will gladly update my review with the outcome.

Too firm!
Got this in a full size for my daughter. The bed was very firm! I have it a week to fluff out since it come in a vacuum sealed bag and says it could take up to 72 hours. The mattress is still hard. Instead of returning it (I didn’t have a box to put it in nor did I want to lug a mattress to a Kohl’s or Amazon store) I purchased a mattress pad to provide some softness. It did help, however, it’s still very firm. I personally think I should have got a different mattress. I got this one because I previously purchased 2 twin sized and they were perfect. Not sure if they made changes in production.

Wow! I'm surprised!
Wow! This mattress is surprisingly comfortable! I purchased a full size for my young son's bed. The price was certainly right. Easy to set up after delivery. Note: The box is heavy! You most likely will need help to bring to the room you intend to set up in. He has used the mattress for about a month. I have layed in it during bedtime stories and find it to be comfy. My mother-in-law visited and used the bed. She remarked that is was very comfortable. I would say the mattress has a bouncy, springy feel to it that I find to be very cozy. I actually prefer it over my hybrid mattress with the memory foam. Seriously considering ditching our mattress to buy one of these.
