I frequently experience pain in my left upper hip/ outer thigh. This wrap stabilizes my hip extremely well and allows me to go about my day with little to no pain. I was concerned based on the dimensions of the product that it might not fit comfortably, however, there is a lot of stretch in the material and depending on where you wear the top wrap it can be very forgiving. I generally wear the top wrap around my lower stomach which keeps the lower wrap snug up tight against the very top of my thigh; but some days, depending on my outfit, I'll wear the top wrap at my upper hips if I want a lower fit on my thigh. Since this material is very warm it gets pretty sweaty, so I wear it on top of my clothes for more comfort. I end up washing my wrap once a week if I wear it every day, or every two weeks if I don't need it daily and so far it has held up really well. No ripped seams or separation of the bottom wrap from the top. Before washing, you should ensure the velcro is fully engaged on the wrap or the velcro could get a stubborn kink that can catch on other articles of clothing. I can see how this product would be difficult to apply to a right hip, the tabs would need to be engaged right in the back and difficult for someone with a limited ability to turn. One perk I was pleased to discover is this can be used as a pocket. Perfect for storing a phone during the day to record steps, and activity.

Unfortunately, this was not big enough for my hip replacement production. The Velcro wouldn’t stay together, so I can’t really say anything more than we didn’t get to really tested out because it was stay together long enough to wear it anywhere wouldn’t go under clothes and it is distracting over clothing.

I realized I needed to up my brace game as my sciatica is past level 10 painful sometimes. I can't even lift my 5 pound work bag without feeling shooting pain and numbness in my left leg. So after reading reviews I got this brace. It was bigger than I expected, but easily fit around my waist and thigh. The directions that come with it are pretty much just pictures but it's easy to follow. I struggled the first time putting it on as I kept losing the grip on the thigh straps. But then I got it down. I find that if I stand, and prop my leg up on a bathtub side it is way easier to wrap around my thigh. It did not take all the pain away like i had hoped, but it took a lot of it away and brought it down from a level 11-about 4 which for me is a big deal. I'm getting more used to the feel of it and it fits easily under workout shorts. I'm only using this for exercise and not an everyday work thing as it it gets sweaty and gross, but the pain is way less so I'll take some extra sweat in exchange for not feeling like I can't function!

one of my most severe allergies is latex of any kind, and i was unlucky enough to not notice what the fumes where when taking it out of the box bc im never around that smell. after a good google search i now know that "neoprene blend" is just a fancy word for straight latex as well, i was also not warned of this in any way on the product page as that is not common knowledge unless you go looking for it specifically. i proceeded to hand wash it in warm water with some baby detergent(i wore dish gloves), let it drip dry in the shower, then finished in the dryer on a low/delicates setting. i put it on actually touching it for a good while this time, and noticed that the straps where in the back and unreachable on my right hip, this brace is only meant for the left hip. i struggled to finally get it strapped, only to come to the sudden realization that my fingers and palms where now both completely numb and on fire, and my palms where beat red. Well, first i, a physically yes but also emotionally disabled 30 year old adult woman, cried and had a panic attack afraid that my throat was going to close up, then quickly fought the industrial strength velco straps that where on the back of my thigh that i could barely reach in mid panic attack, to get the devil brace off. be careful, if you dont see an allergy warning posted, ASK. i didnt...UPDATE:kindly confronted the seller before returning the devil brace, told me that it was made of a "latex free neoprene blend" when the name itself is completely contradictory twice over. neoprene is synthetic rubber latex, and "neoprene blend" is also latex. sorry but my body is telling me different. every brace on the market if sold by a reputable seller, like a certain blue big name box retailer, has an allergen warning on all of their neoprene products, because neoprene is made with natural rubber latex. i wasnt warned here, i was also blatantly lied to which is another reason why i returned it once i found my gloves.

This wrap seems to have given me some relief from lots of pain I have had for 6 months. After just two days of using the wrap during the day, I slept better and had an easier time finding comfortable sleep positions the last two nights. I have lots of pain again today. It's an on and off thing with me. I will continue using the wrap, as it supports the legs and muscles while walking and provides compression. I can also adjust the tightness to be able to use an ice pack on my back while wearing it. Actually I had designed something like this in my mind because I knew where I wanted the support, then I saw this for sale and knew it fit my needs~!! So there must be a lot of people suffering from the same type of things.
