Works great on Patriot cargo trailer metal roof 6X12. I've used 44ft.
Got 100ft roll. On my Patriot cargo trailer metal roof 6X12 I've used 30ft for around the roof, and 2x 7ft for the top front and rear = 44ft total. Someone mentioned it helps to leave the roll on the sun for a bit. Fortunately it was hot when item arrived and I did that same day (working in the shade at 95F) and I bet it helped.

Great Quality and better than original
This product is amazing. It has a slightly thicker and rubber like feel the fits snugly and looks great. Our original trim was painted with the RV and I was afraid this wouldn’t look good but it looks better. Just make sure to buy black caulk for the securing screws at the ends. The original trim was coming out of the track constantly at the end of 2024 on a 2021 model. This stuff has been on the RV for over a month and after a road trip it’s perfect! Buy this and stop looking any further.

RV Trim - See Review
DATE ORDERED: 03/12/24DATE ARRIVED: 03/15/24DATE OF REVIEW: 03/16/24PERSONAL BUY / PRODUCT TO REVIEW: Personal BuyDELIVERY: Arrived by UPS. Good Packaging.QUALITY: Thick Rubber Trim Molding. Advertised as 1". Actual dimension of product received was closer to 7/8".INTENDED PURPOSE: 5th Wheel RV Gutter TrimRECOMMENDATION: We have a 5th wheel. Its an older model that came with the standard plastic trim. It has fallen apart after 10 years. Brittle; Cracked; Split; Faded; Falling out of the track. Thought we would try rubber this time. On initial inspection, I was concerned because it stated is was 1" trim. Actual measurement was closer to 7/8". The rubber seems to be a decent quality. It is a bit stiff and will wear your fingers out as you install it. Each side run on our RV is 40'. Times two, I needed 80'. Taking the old trim out was easy. It was brittle and cracked anyway. No sense in being gentle with it. After removing the old trim, it took about 1 hour per side to change working from an extension ladder. The new rubber molding is stiff. It looks great. We purchased the black trim. It 'looks' like it will definitely outlast the previous molding. I/we would recommend that when you need to replace your gutter trim molding, this is a great alternative and very cost effective. Be patient while you're installing. Insert into the bottom track first. Work about 4" at a time. Do your best to fold it as you go. Clean the track with a small vinyl brush first or as you go. Verify that you have it inserted fully into the track. You don't want to have to pull it back out. This is not a hard job. Almost anyone could do it. One suggestion...Do this on a relatively warm day (I did ours when it was about 50 degrees F. and sunny. I unrolled the rubber out ahead of time to let the sun warm it up. That made it a bit easier to work with). At this point, I would buy this product again should I need more.OVERALL RATING: 4 Stars. I would give it 5 stars but need time to see how it does in the heat and cold for expansion and contraction properties. We need to make sure it stays in the track. Installed on 03/15/24. Will report back at a later date.

Good Value & Easy to Install
It was time to replace our insert molding on our 2019 Grand Design 337. We're full-time and are exposed to every type of weather out there. When inspecting the insert it was getting noticeably harder and less pliable. The replacement was straightforward and it is a good idea to let it warm in the sun for a bit to add to the flexibility. Taking out the old insert was easy and spent time inspecting the insert grooves, cleaning them out with mineral spirits and a small plastic scraper then securing the screws and using some Lexel sealant on the screw heads. Just make sure the insert sits securely in the insert grooves as there may be an area or 5 or 6 where it may not catch properly. I also did a beed of Lexel about 3' up from each end to further prevent moisture from getting in and securing it so as to avoid the dreaded insert molding flying around down the road scenario. Also, consider a few short areas over the length of the insert strip where you put some additional sealant just in case. When it is time to remove it again, it's easy to pull it right out sealant or no sealant.

STANDARD: 2 stars, HEAVY DUTY: 5 STARS !!!
Edit: Old review of STANDARD product: 2 stars: They call it 1", but it is not the same, it is about 1/16" shorter between the rails, so it will lay at a different position than the original. You can use it, but if you are repairing old, it will require you to run sealant over the transition so there is not a gap between the two.Edit: NEW review of HEAVY DUTY variant: 5 STARS: I had to buy more and saw that the heavy duty was getting good reviews, so I ordered 100 feet. THIS VARIANT IS MUCH BETTER!. The standard variety was plastic and I think will fail like the original material. This is more rubbery but still shiny, matches the old dimensions better, except is even thicker than original, and best of all, is very easy to install. I didn't try to pull it through the rail like last time, I simply pulled the old out, and started at one end, laying the bottom in the rail first, then bending the material so I could push it into the top part of the rail. It definitely wants to stay with no problem. I was able to do 35 feet in about 1/2 hour, spending more time going up and down the ladder than actually installing it. MUCH better. DO NOT BUY STANDARD, get HEAVY DUTY, and you might as will get 100 feet, you're going to need to keep replacing the original stuff as it fails. 5 stars! I think the heavy duty will last MUCH longer.

Easy install
I used this to replace cracking, weather worn trim on our old 2000 Shasta camper. It is very easy to squeeze into the channels. I got it installed and resealed on the front cap of the trailer in about 45 minutes total work.
