Great replacement for a travel laptop
This is more than just a tablet, it's more like a full-size computer that you can take with you on the go without a keyboard. Tried tablet after tablet mostly the low-end android OS variety. Those others seem like they're intended for reading books, anything else and you're likely to encounter glitches, crashes, or some variety of the above. Picked up this gem while it was on sale around Christmas time and it has been the only one that lasted more than just a few months or a few weeks before finding a crippling problem forcing me to send it back.Upgraded to windows 10 during the free upgrade period. After the upgrade, this tablet had a problem running Chrome browser which would close directly after opening and throw back an error. Testing it again before this review, that problem seems to have been corrected. While reading with the NOOK app its possible you will have to adjust the display settings to make reading easier since this app is intended for windows 8. Even after the adjustment you may need to hold the text in the correct position to read it at some points. Both of the cameras are a joke; its only possible to use skype in a very (and I mean very) bright room or outside at noon. The rear facing camera seems okay (but low quality), the other exposes everything ridiculously dark. But hey this is windows, its compatible with most USB cameras... kinda defeats the purpose of a tablet though. The onscreen keyboard will usually only appear if you tap on the keyboard icon along the corner of the screen. I use desktop mode, so I haven't adequately tested tablet mode windows 10 to comment on it except that at a glance it appeared confusing.

Love it! Great portable cheap gaming machine.
Currently typing this on the tw802. Have owned it for two weeks and its great. So far I've mostly tested my favorite RTSs due to the touch screen. Games Ive tried that work perfect so far,* Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition (touch screen as a mouse is awesome)* StarCraft Brood Wars* Age of Empires Gold Edition* StarCraft II Heart of the Swarm* Skyrim for a *really* smooth experience everything is on low and running in 800x600 which isn't at all bad on such a small screen.Whats great is the full size usb, I was able to connect an external CD drive and install games. Screen looks crisp, touch screen works really well. Having a full vs of windows on a tablet is great! This is the future of portable gaming for me I don't really see the need to buy dedicated gaming hardware anymore since this can run all PC Games from 2010 and earlier at least. Just ordered a telescopic game pad to do even more gaming on the go. Is this worth your money? If you want a portable PC gaming tablet for under $150 heck yes!Ill update this review (and most likely creat YouTube videos) as I test more games.

WinBook TW802 is a Great Little Computer
Have had this tablet for just over a year now and it is still going strong. Get a fairly decent battery life from it even when playing games in addition to surfing and doing emails. I like to play Civ on Steam as well as a few other games. The computer travels well, is light and charges quickly. I have a leather binder for mine with a built in blue tooth keyboard. I like that it has a full size USB in addition to the mini USB. You can be charging the computer while working with it, transferring files to desktop or even watching a dvd movie from portable (usb) dvd player. Windows 8 works very well and has been updating regularly. I use ESet Node 32 virus checking for this machine.I would highly recommend this tablet for anyone looking for an inexpensive windows tablet.

Unboxing review - just opened it, fired it up, so far I like it.
+ Came with a clear polythene sheet covering it, once again clear so screen was fully visible.+ Had more than enough power, finished setup even without charging.+ Easy to setup, a few clicks and I was all set.+ Touch, Rotation, charging, all fine.+ Charger is 100-240V input. Most are these days, nevertheless still a plus...+ Removable USB--> micro USB cable.+ Hard copy of Office 365 product key was present - (one year free, I suppose)- Product Key of "Win 8.1" hard copy is not thereI guess these are all just FYI, neither a +/-? It says 18.8G free.? I think it dealt out a loud beep after being fully charged first time. Unplug/replugged, tried again; it has not beeped yet.? Box says "Windows 8.1", but the tablet PC Settings -> PC Info -> says "Windows 8.1 with bing".As another reviewer wrote, I also feel cheated on the "With Bing". Not that I have noticed any difference so far. ^o^.Yet to research it, but office cafeteria gossip was "whole disk encryption" works on Win 8.1 Pro but not possible with "Win 8.1 with bing".Its a new toy... will play with it for more time. Planned usage: As a second PC and on the move.
