Very well built. Rock solid. Make sure you use some sort of epoxy or something to attach the filter to the base. Love them. Highly recommend.

Although the photograph shows an additional filter, and the description really makes it seem like there exists a "replacement filter," all you get is one filter. It is the one that comes in the metal housing. The one in the picture that is on the right, does not exist.This is one of those cases where what you see, is not exactly what you get. Often, what you see in the picture is what you get. Not this time, this product display takes more of a convoluted approach. Just wanted to try to clear that up, since it is not so clear from the advertisement. You are purchasing only one filter. Not a filter already in the housing, as well as an additional replacement, as shown.

Got two of these last year for my bike. They are solid and mount up well but do have one little problem. After a few thousand miles one of filters came unglued from it's base. Fortunately it flew back between my foot and the bike so I used a good glue to reattach it. Small deal or so it seemed at the time. About 6 months later the other filter came unglued (factory applied glue) and I lost it. Since I'm using 2 of these and want to have matching filters I had to buy a 3rd set. I tested that the filter was well glued to the base before mounting it and hope it stays tight.Two months later and still attached.

This was a long overdo install that should stop my vintage Harley from marking it's spot.

I wanted to order another one and they jumped price on it.

Put this on my bike as it didn't come with one when purchased. Works great and adds a little pop to the side of my bike. Would recommend!

I don't really know what they do, if anything. I was told to put them on my bike and hook stuff up to them and so that is what I did. They are pretty and shiny. I realized not one new thrill on my Vulcan 750 because of these filters. I do not intend to ever replace them so I guess you could say they are good for the life of your vehicle. They should come with some sort of thing that tells you why you bought them.
