I'm amazed.
I'm old school: 1996 old school... I had 10s and a Punch 45, 15s and a Denon 1000-watt amp; I built boxes and spent a lot of time and money damaging my ears as a Gen X youth. When I saw these 6.5, I remembered the name brand from back in the day and decided to give it a shot. I built a chambered 6th order box and stuck these in there. I was startled by the amount of air they could move and the amount of Bass they could produce. I have them with a 500 watt cheap amp running them at 2 Ohm and they Hit Hard. These work as well as some old school 10's. They are Cheap and they are small. If you need the space and a good deal I highly recommend getting a set and light them

Amazing for price
This is one of the cheapest actual 6.5" subwoofers for sale anywhere. I chose it based on 1)price, 2) brand recognition 3)size, 4)reviews.This is a outstanding value.I loaded it into an old SAS Bazooka tube, it is powered by an Orion Cobalt CS100.2 Amplifier bridged @140watts, and is mounted vertically behind the drivers seat in 1987 Suzuki Samurai. Is sounds great, and has plenty of low end excursion, and handles the power well. I do not know what the roll off frequency is for the tube but it plays 50Hz notes fairly well.I am extremely satisfied with this product given my setup. (Results may vary LOL)Bottom line if you want a 6.5" sub on the cheap buy this! You wont find a better deal.

6.5 and 15" review!
The 15: So i ordered 4 of these on Parts Express. And before i go any further, I'm not like half the people on here. I know its a LANZAR woofer, So you need to be extra careful with them. Lanzar doesnt state the RMS of the woofer, only the peak. And the people with EXPERIENCE would know, lanzar's words arent good for anything. 2000 watts is the peak, So for those people who say "i only put 8000 clipping pyle watts and it only lasted for 1 seconds hur dur this is crap", is wrong. This isnt a bad woofer, but i would only expect it good for 300 clean watts. No more. The foam surround colour fades in the sunlight fast and it has a tiny spider, Now, most of the time, the fading surround dosnt count against performance, The small spider doesn't allow a lot of Xmax. Now, Lanzar is famous for sending woofers that aren't good. Just like my 6.5 lanzar sub, my friends 6.5 lanzar sub, and one or two of my 15" subs, the voice coil isnt 100% glued... AGAIN. And it makes clicking sounds just like the 6.5. When you take off the magnet boot, the double stacked magnets are odd. One is short and wide while the other is tall and skinny, Almost like they forgot they needed to make a new magnet but got lazy so they used a megnet for a existing sub. (it dosnt bother me, but if you where to invert it and have the boot off, it would look gross and dosnt affect the performance at all.) However, its not that bad of a sub. Its cheap, Magnet size is alright, and if you take off the magnet boot, you get better cooling for the coil.UPDATE FOR THE 15" i got a 2000 watt rms amp and i can smell burning coils when i turn it up. i have 4 of these, so 2000/4=500 watts per sub. It cant handle 500 watts rms clean without clipping. Fail on lanzar. I really thought lanzar would maintain the awesome-ness they had in the 90's, but i guess not. They fell to the crap quality like a lot of old audio company's did. R.I.P old lanzar.I ordered this on the 8th of June and it came at the 17th. shipping was 35 dollars not including the woofer. When i got it, half the voice coil was separated from the spider. so i took my heat gun and blasted it and attempted to repair it. when i realized the voice coil was only half glued. i'll hit it with some 2 part epoxy and hopfully it will stick then. you can hear the woofer here:[...]

Powerful little sub
Quality is good and misleading the picture shows a pair but it's only for one unit. The subwoofer produce a nice clean bass it sounds best on a box with either slim slot port or a 2" round port box.

There ok but don't trust the power rating
I bought 2 of these based on the price ($28.99 each)I was originally going to use to replace the rear speakers in my work car but I decided to build a box with some scrap plywood I had laying around. I have no idea what the box tuning is. I just built it to fit my trunk the best. dimensions 24"L x 11.5"H x 10"W port 2.5" W x 18" L . To my surprise they sound pretty dang good. I'm using a lanzar 2000w amp with gain about 50% it'll rattle the trunk. My only grief is with lanzar because there power ratings are a lie. I watched a YouTube where they tested the lanzar 2000w amp and it was 200w rms at 2ohms and they claimed it was 750w rms r 2ohms and there's no way these speakers can handle there rated 350 watts rms without blowing. But other than that you keep about 100w-150w rms Max and they sound great and should last a long time

Decent for what it is
This thing gets down for the price, box is about .98 with a 19” port length tuned at 42hz. Just don’t give it more than 100w and you’ll be good. Running off a bluetooth amplifier. Sounds bigger than it is in cab and has decent throw standing outside.

For cars best, for bikes ok under 45 mph
If you're going to use these as a small sub for small enclosures, you'll be in good shape. Pretty good sound, they've got some boom for something so small. Do follow the guidelines for enclosure size. If you're like me and using them a mid ranges, they work ok. You will not get the standard mid sounds you think you might get. Using in a very small space that's vented, probably not the best idea to use this style of speaker, get a true mid bass speaker. I have them in the lower fairings of my Harley. At idle you hear mid tones well, though not a super amount of volume due to, well vibration of the bike and pipes. They sound pretty good with engine off, but because of the wave length of low tones, you'll loose probably 70% of sound while riding at 45+. Impress your pals at a stoplight is about all they're good for on a bike. In a car I would presume much better results for enclosed spaces and enclosures.
