This cable latches so it's very secure. All the advertised specifications are real and this DP cable is the real deal. It's clearly well made and very high quality. One of the best DP cables I have ever came across. So, good value as a result of actually meeting all specifications and having a rock solid connector that actually latches.

3440x1440 144hz cable? Works for me. As always, your mileage may vary. Using with a GTX 10 series G-Sync graphics card on a Free-Sync 2 monitor. Newest Nvidia drivers installed.Updated my monitor from a 27" 2560x1440 165hz G-Sync monitor to a 34" 3440x1440 144hz Free-Sync Ultrawide (used my existing DP cable). Suffered from random black screen, thought it might have been a G-Sync/Free-Sync issue. NOPE! Turned my resolution down and black screen issue disappeared. Bought this cable for a lot less than a VESA approved brand. Plugged it in. Turned it back up to 3440x1440 144hz and haven't looked back. Sometimes cable bandwidth matters and this upgrade was reasonably priced.As for durability? I can only say that it is a rugged PVC cable with reasonable strain relief. Can't say more than that as l haven't had it long enough and my monitor stays in one orientation.Hope the above helps.

I've got an Acer X34P monitor which I've got supported by my Ergotron LX Monitor arm. The cable supplied by Acer is only about 1m long so not possible to do tidy cable routing. So I plumped for this 5m cable - the description doesn't precisely specify what version of DP its targetted at (but as cables are supposed to be interchangeable that's actually a good thing). The claim of 8k support and 4K 120Hz support was the deciding factor. I run my monitor at 3440x1440 120Hz and it runs perfectly over this 5m long cable.The cable is well made, quite thick so slightly difficult to bend in tight corners. The DP connectors are of the latching variety to prevent accidental disconnection. Finally the all important "Pin 20" is not connected - which should be a mandatory requirement for any properly constructed cable, to prevent short-circuits between the powerout on the source and destination devices - you can fry your graphics card with an improperly wired cable.Anyway, throughly impressed and recommended.

Item arrived earlier than expected. Minimal packaging outer wrap strong paper bag, excellent as this is recyclable.Very sturdy 1.5m cable quality item (discounted reduced price for 1.5m) display port cable. Works well ,currently able to use new monitor with OSD menu to act as a KVM switch (one screen x2 PC units) , monitor has HDMI + Display port as a workaround. The existing KVM model had VGA ports for monitor, currently no adaptors (bi-directional) available.I would buy from this supplier again as both quality item and fast(er) delivery. Would be 4.5 starts if 0.5 allowed or possible. KVM now allows Keyboard + Mouse functionality PS2 old connects. System(s) up and running.Only issues for contention is Amazon delivery charge why force prime i opted for paid standard delivery, to avoid monthly Prime charge. What happened to the 3-5 days delivery no charge? For immediate or next day I understand small postal cost.

Good quality works as it should getting full 144hz on 48inch ultra wide-screen monitor, no problems

Excellent, high quality cabling with nice socket latches. Might prove a bit stiff if you need to make a sharp turn near the socket, but you can't pass this much data around on a speaker cable.

I'd been looking for a cable to do this resolution for a while, had tried longer cables (inc the 7.5M version of this) without luck. This cable though runs at my desired resolution and refresh rate perfectly, the only thing I'd point out to any potential purchaser is that the connector at each end protrudes around 5.5CM out from the back of the monitor/PC and the cable is well shielded and fairly inflexible compared to many (pros and cons with this) so consider how you are using it particularly at the ends of the run. I had some difficulty connecting to my monitor due to the alignment of the DP socket on the back of the monitor, that's not the cables fault though.

These are easily the most robust DP connectors I have ever used. Cable is thick but quite stiff. I use these on fast 27inch monitors and there are no issues whatsoever. The connections have a positive ‘click’. If you need cables to accomodate a sharp bend i.e. 90 degrees then these aren’t for you.

Had a cheaper 8k cable fail. Always had issues with the thing losing the image. Drove me nuts as it would happen regularly.This new cable doesn't have that issue at all, haven't had a single blip.
