Color and function are superb!
This take is the only way to finish off a new bar wrap-job. You can find the right color and it works so much better than electrical take. The take literally melts into itself. Really love this stuff. Not cheap though

Was tricky to wrap overall happy with the purchase
I wish I would have tested the self adhevesive strength before starting to wrap one handle. Also because it only sticks to itself its rolled up with plastic to keep it seperated. That plastic seperator is annoying and gets in the way. Made it tricky but by the time I got to the second handle I had figured out how to wrap it without it looking horrible. Go slow, have scissors handy to cut away the plastic whenever it gets to long and if you start to wrap incorrectly immediately stop and slowly start to pull apart the pieces. Smaller areas that stick together will come apart with some finagling but you're screwed for larger areas. One picture is of the poor job I did and the other is after I got the hang of it. Hope that gives an idea. Overall it is a great wrap, that comes in different colors (if aesthetics are important to you) and makes for a comfortable slip free grip. Ill chalk it up to user error since ive never wrapped my own stuff before and wont drop it to 4 stars but would be great to include some instructions or tips for wrapping it correctly. Maybe something as simple as a qr code or link to a tutorial video.

Not a fan of this stuff...
First of all I am OCD about my bike. I have been riding for over 40 years and have wrapped handlebars on various bikes about a zillion times. I get bored with my equipment and a cheap quick change is to install new bar tape. The finishing tape supplied with bar tape basically sucks, so like everyone else I substitute it with electrical tape, Which works fine in most cases. I ordered some of this silicone self fusing tape based on positive reviews and ended up not being that fond of it. For one, it's a tad too wide. Secondly, it has a clear plastic backing that pulls off as you are applying it and it's kind of tricky. It adheres to itself (as described). You can't pull too tight or it will wrinkle. If you install it directly to the handlebar tape it will tear the handlebar tape if you try to remove it. I tried to lay a light layer of electrical tape first, then the self fusing tape over it. I didn't like the way it looked. Pulling it off was tricky (did I use that word before?) as it self adheres and it pulls off in a big loop and you can pull until it tears, or cut it with scissors. After messing around with for about a half an hour-45 minutes, I gave up. I just went back to using electrical tape. However for taping cable to your handlebars this stuff will probably work great. I'm not slamming this stuff, it just did not work for me.Post edited 6/21/21...old dogs can learn new tricks. Stupid old man applied this stuff again after so much problems the first time. It went on nice and easy. Looks nice and shiny, holds handlebar tape down. No problems. Disregard about what the man behind the curtain said the first time....

This Stuff Sticks to Itself Like Nobody's Business!
I used this tape to build up the diameter of my bicycle handlebar for an accessory that was too loose and would stay in position. This tape is not that sticky to you hands or fingers but man does it stick to itself. In fact if it touches itself you will not be able to unstick it without it tearing so be careful when wrapping it. I had to tear it off and throw away the first two attempts and was more careful with the 3rd attempt. It does the job!

Best finishing tape.
This stuff is the best for finishing your bar tape. Standard electrical tape is fine, sure, but tape can unravel, and in the summer it can get loose or get the adhesive all over. Not this stuff. Don't let the width fool you because it is very stretchy. You don't have to stretch it, but a bit of stretch to really secure the end of the bar tape it better. They are not kidding about having the plastic liner on the roll. Once you cut it and apply, it seals to itself instantly. Gives a nice finished look; not too matte and not too shiny. I've never had it unravel so I'd have to say this is 5 stars of durability.

Best bike tape for adding gel pads or rubber pipe insulation to handlebars
When adding gel pads or 5/8” rubber pipe insulation to you handlebars to increase biking comfort, you don’t want to use adhesive tape that leaves sticky adhesive everywhere on your handlebars. This tape only sticks to itself, so it let me zip tie the trimmed to fit rubber pipe insulation right where I want it without moving brake levers, etc. Then, cutting short 6” strips I can easily wrap tape on the ends, and then use short strips to finish covering. (You can’t do that with non-adhesive wrap-type tapes.) It is extremely stretchy but I found just gently stretching it works best and gives the best coverage. No need to remove handlebar hardware and wrap the entire bar. This tape magically sticks to itself and waterproofs your padding. (Of course you can use it like normal tape and do long continuous wraps, but using short sections allows more flexibility and saves tape.). It’s durable and feels good on your hands, and long bike rides are much more comfortable now.You can get 6 ft sections of 5/8” pipe insulation on Amazon, for example:https://www.amazon.com/Duda-Solar-Standard-Insulation-Resistant/dp/B016649YVE/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2SQ3AIA6NF4E4&keywords=Rubber%2Bpipe%2Binsulation%2B5%2F8&qid=1657809016&sprefix=rubber%2Bpipe%2Binsulation%2B5%2F8%2Caps%2C105&sr=8-2&th=1

not exactly 10 feet, 3 meters
measurement on package says .5 mm x 25mm x 3m, 3 m is a bit less than the 10 feet (9.84252 m) it says in webpage description. Won't make a big difference to me for what I plan to use it for but it might to some.

WOW
Forget about electrical tape or any other kind of tape for you bike. This product is great. You can do a repair in about 30 seconds and have it last a long time (not sure how long since it was purchased recently but looks long lasting). It is not sticky. It is ideal for handle bar tape repair, but seems like you could do the entire handle bars from scratch. It is not sticky. The material is not sticky, but it "binds" to itself very securely. I'm very impressed with this product. It is like a wonder of science. However, I'm not impressed with the price. You get very little for the money you pay.

Excellent produit
Excellent produit auto adhésif lorsque qu’il est tendu. Franchement une belle surprise. Fini le scotch noir qui ne tiens pas dans la durée et face aux intempéries.

Sticks well, easy to use
Great alternative to traditional handlebar finishing tape. No sticky residue. Sticks very well on itself. Slightly too expensive
