I wanted these to make “arroz con chorizo” (rice with chorizo) and “guisado de garbanzos con chorizo” (chick peas and chorizo stew).These chorizos are kind of hard, so I thought that they weren’t going to work for this, but I was wrong. The rice turned out to be delicious and I can’t wait to taste them with the chick pea stew.These are really flavorful and are the real deal!Strong taste and perfect for Tapas.They got here in perfect condition, with no signs of the mold mentioned in other reviews. They were also easy to chew without any of the bits and pieces also mentioned in other reviews.Based on all this I would buy this product again, and give it five stars.

This is a wonderful Chorizo. I am a little sad they dont let the natural mold that forms on the casing like the ones you find throughout Europe. The mold which is safe, adds to the rich flavor of a well aged Spanish Chorizo. Im just happy that the USDA and FSIS allow the importation of this mold or no mold.

The product itself is good I have purchased before, but this particular batch is bad, it has mold in it, the expiration date is set for March 2022, but it is bad now Nov 8, 2021, and the sad part is, i can’t return itI am updating my review to add a note about the seller, they have an excellent customer service and even though I was way past my returning window, they went ahead and gave me a full refund for the bad product. As I have mentioned before, the Product is good, I never had this issue before with it, and now I can honestly say, that the seller is an honest and decent people. Thank you!

My Spanish family has really appreciated the delicious and authentic flavor of this chorizo.

For the record, I am reviewing: Chorizo Autentico Mild by Palacios. Imported from Spain. 7.9 OunceFirst, if you have ever used the Sweet Smoked Spanish Paprika (imported kind), then you know how strong of a flavor these have. They use that paprika to make this sausage and let me tell you they use a lot. I used this in Jambalaya and in Paella and when I used it the first time I cut slices about a quarter of an inch thick to add to the jambalaya and that was way too thick. I highly recommend that you almost shave these into pepperoni style cuts of meat, and do not use a lot, the taste is overpowering in your dish as the flavor is so strong. I do love it, but you have to get the right amount. I purchased the two pack, and believe me those two are going to last me a year. The last dish I made i uses a total of 10 thin slices and it was just right, gave the rice the best flavor and was not overpowering of the other flavors that I wanted to present in the dish. I have wrapped the unused portion and put it in the freezer and expect it will last forever since it is a dried sausage. Just to that you know, I think the MILD refers to the heat level not the spice level because the amount of spices in this sausage is very high, you can tell by the color when you cut it that it is loaded with spices.

My purchase went moldy after a couple of months. It said to store in a cool,dry place which I did. The expiration date (I believe) was 11/24. When I went to use it, I had to throw it away. Disappointing!

They were fresh and very good.

Soy español y vivo en Madrid, España,. Envío este chorizo a una amiga en Veracruz, México. Es el que yo consumo y a mi amiga de México le encanta.Una pena que dispongan de él con cuentagotas.

Calidad regular. Además ya es la segunda vez que pido dos paquetes y solo llegó uno. Claro, así a fuerzas pago envío. La primera creí que era un error de alguien, ahora veo que Es un abuso 👎
