Includes a tubing butt-connector, viton O-rings.
The add doesn't say so in the description, but this "kit" includes a tubing connector to tie this in to your existing fuel line. Nice touch. Also, the O-rings are viton (at least they are brown and appear to be viton and not just Buna-N or Nitrile. Anyway, good deal and top-quality kit.

Worked perfectly for my application to replace fuel filter in my trucks frame.
Not sure why amazon says it does not fit my vehicle but this worked perfectly to replace my rusted connections to my fuel filter. Had to replace filter and lines on both side of the filter. used a small tubing cutter to remove the filter and lines on both sides. These worked perfectly to put this all back together. I used inch wide by two feet long sand paper with cloth back to clean up the steel fuel line. 3/8 inch. You have to be careful on ordering kits like this as the line may be 3/8 but the fitting may be smaller and will not connect to your filter. My truck is a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado,1500 5.3 engine, 4x4 extended cab, automatic trans. The fuel filter is a canister type with a main fuel line 3/8 inch going to and from the filter located in the frame, Drivers side, Half way under the truck. I had to improvise to make this work as the old plastic support that holds the fuel filter was broken. Thanks Chevrolet for steel lines for not only the fuel lines but brake lines as well. All rust out in time and up here in Northern Michigan where they salt the roads during the winter, these rust out quickly. There are two smaller fuel return lines also. This Dorman 800-153 fuel filter repair kit worked perfectly and did not leak at all. they come with the o ring and fitting but not the spring that shows in the picture, not sure why they show this, misleading. Also they need to say it is a 3/8 inch for us laymen. Check out the pictures.

Wow perfect
I broke my rusted fuel line trying to remove it from the fuel filter. All I needed was a circular pipe cutter and an autozone tube bender. Saved me big time.No leaks, union fitting working well, saw some reviews about upgrading to better quality fitting

Right fit for my GM vehicle
These were kind of expensive, especially since you need two, but they fit correctly on my GM vehicle. There is a bump in the tubing that keeps the nut from sliding off, which is good, but it also prevented me from making bends near the fittings. As a result, the new filter assembly was 3" too long and had to be relocated. I couldn't use the included compression union as the rest of my lines are rubber, but that and the included o-ring make it a complete kit. Note: You do NOT get the pictured tube bender, so count on buying (preferably a better one) of those.

Good kit
Decided I wanted to replace my in-line fuel filter on my 03 impala. After debunking several people who said my car didn't have one, I located it under the driver side rear, near the tire. It had never been replaced in the life of the vehicle. The fuel filter uses a plastic connection on the fuel tank side which is easy peasy to remove. On the other side is a metal nut that was entirely rusted out. I decided to replace the filter and a small section of line. This kit provides the new compression fittings (to connect to the cut line) and the other end screws into your (separately purchased) new filter. I cut the fuel line with a small inexpensive pipe cutter and my local auto parts store let me use their handheld pipe bender to give it the bend it needed to snug back under the car. No noticeable difference while driving but I'm glad I changed it. Has been on there a month with no leaks.

Worked perfectly on my 2004 Chevy Impala.
Went to change my fuel filter, but the forward fitting was rusted solid. I cut out a section of the fuel line and replaced it with this. Just do yourself a favor and don't use the included compression coupling. I found a much higher quality one and used that instead. The last thing you need is a fuel leak.

No tube bending spring in kit, poor quality 3/8" compression union split apart
Despite the product image showing that the kit includes a tube bending spring, there was no spring in the kit. The tube "can" be bent without the spring if you are willing to risk kinking and hence ruining the replacement fuel line section.I managed to borrow a cheap "lever style" Tube Bender from a friend that has a repair shop and it bent the 3/8" steel tube as well as the original factory bends. I had to move the bends back an inch relative to the fitting that screws into the fuel filter, to accommodate the tool. See First ImageThe 3/8" to 3/8" compression union in the kit was absolute junk. The entire end of one of the brass nuts that compresses the olive onto the tube, cracked off as the union was being tightened. I was fortunate that I had some quality plumbing fittings that I could use to finish the job. Working under the car and without an olive cutter/puller, I had to cut an extra inch or so off the fuel pipe to free the olive and the broken end of the nut so the replacement could be fitted. See Second Image
