Perfect size/height for higher kitchen-cabinet access. I'm short so this step stool is great--deep steps for a stable foot-hold and a good seat to sit on. Do expect this stool to still look great 30 years from now. The back bar helps add stability for leaning and grabbing on to since am no longer a spring chicken who can walk a balance beam. Does unfold/fold easily--once I figured out how easy it was to open. Hah! Appears to be very well constructed but isn't heavy. Am a very satisfied customer. (p.s. shipment was fast even though am not a prime member).

This is a great step stool! It is study (for a big man) to use. It is light. It folds and stores easily in a tiny closet. It looks nice and works great. We got it to put nice looking towels in a cubby in our new bathroom. The wife will also use it to reach the top shelves in all the bedroom closets.

It really is amazing what a difference a two-step stool can make. My step-stool arrived yesterday, and I was able to change the floodlight bulb over my kitchen sink, as well as get some boxes put up over my kitchen cabinets. This step-stool seems to be sturdy; I appreciate that there was no wobble when I stepped up on it. I tested sitting on the top step, just to see if this could be used as a spare chair in a pinch ... seems like it would be OK. I am not a light person, so I went with the 300 lb rated capacity. Regrettably, when folded, this is just a bit too wide to slip into the space between my refrigerator and cupboards, so I haven't figured out where I'm going to store it. Right now, it's just standing in a corner in my kitchen ... I figure my cats might like the extra perch space, while I figure out where to keep it.

I'm a large woman and I feel safe and secure on it. It's also wide enough for both my little grandsons to stand on and help me cook. Great little stool. No problems at all.

I was going to send this item back but I needed it for a photo session so my husband attached some rubber to the bottom of the front support so I wouldn't slip. When I first imposed this item I went to try it out and as soon as I put my foot on the first step it slid forward! It's a very sturdy metal step stool but the slippery bottom makes it a dud. Don't bother with this one.
