Keep it handy
Nice book. It’s kind of hard to wrap your brain around at times. Very helpful. Read it slow and then reread it and you can get some valuable information from it.

The go-to resource of orchids
Initially, I was first taken back by the multitude of striking pictures of beautiful orchids. As if being enrolled in Orchids 101, it was fascinating to first learn that there are over 25,000 different species. That definitely got my attention. Today, some are still being discovered in the wild.Easy-to-read, the different parts of the orchid were shown and described in great detail. In order to thrive by the hands of a breeder, particular care and maintenance must be observed. A little bit of TLC and a whole lot of knowledge would go a long way.More so than most common plants, orchids come with a variety of specific needs; this well-written tutorial addresses each and every one of them; all bases are covered. If followed as suggested, the outlook for propagation and growth will have a better than good chance for a successful outcome. This book comes highly recommended for the novice or even the best of orchid enthusiast's.I offer my gratitude to NetGalley and Fox Chapel Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

Extremely Helpful!
Orchids Handbook by author Michael Tibbs was exactly the book I needed to understand the complete care of my plants. I collect small orchids as a hobby and through trial and error have kept many of them for years. when I found Orchids Handbook I knew I had to read it and gain further information about the health and well-being of my plants. I knew basic rules for orchids, but this handbook explains the harvesting, propagation, repotting, and easy care for my orchids. If you have ever wanted to try to grow or keep an orchid, then please read this handbook. It is much easier than you may think. If you have an understanding of the nutrient needs and air root system, then you are more than a novice. I plan to refer to this book as my collection continues to grow!
