Love these colorful, small bowls with lids. Just the right size to store leftover cut up fruit, etc as you can just eat right out of the bowl. Please note that you cannot heat melamine in the microwave, stove top or oven.

I bought 3 sets of these bowls, so I must like them ;-)) The bowls themselves are very sturdy, however, as another reviewer has stated, the lids crack easily (I don't own a dishwasher, so all are washed by hand). *but* I emailed the company thru their contact link on their website, and they responded immediately and I received new replacement lids just a few days later! Very happy with the brand/company. Would recommend the product, just be gentle/careful with the lids. Oh, the picture is a little deceiving, instead of purple, it's turquoise.

Just received these in the mail today. I decided on the Oggi Stainless Steel Bowl Set with Lids because the product description said dishwasher safe. The product box I received said "hand wash". These are nice bowls and will keep them. Look to be well made and nestle nicely. The lids fit very tightly. Seems to have a nice weight to them. If the product description had said hand wash I would have given 5 stars. These bowls have a brushed stainless steel interior with a mirrored exterior. Really wish they were dishwasher safe.

I almost kicked myself in the head for paying this much money for set of three bowls. Finally after 11 years of marriage I am starting to , little by little, incorporate QUALITY pieces into my kitchen. I knew exactly what I wanted and looked forever for a set of1) Stainless steel. Had to have because of it's non-reactive properties.2) rubberized. Tired of following the bowl around or killing my arms having to hold the bowl tightly while stirring or mixing.3) LIDS. If I want to keep the stuff in the bowl and refrigerate for later.I love this set. I know it will last a long time. Very well made.

These bowls are a good quality and weight. The lids fit securely on the bowls. They are bright colors and all one size. They would work great as prep bowls or for storage. I actually gave several of them to my granddaughter. I bought her a kitchen playset from Amazon for Christmas. She loves to pretend to cook and loves stirring and whisking ingredients together and these bowls are the perfect size "mixing" bowls for little hands. These bowls have a multitude of uses. I am very happy with the purchase.

I had other Oggi bowls with sturdier lids. LIke the brand, so pleased with these. As an additional note: I noticed there were black, almost "skid" marks on my counter. Turns out the black bottom, designed so the bowls don't slide, leave a mark. On my white counters, not pleased with that one.

The lids do not seat correctly

If the bowls had less flimsy lids, this would be 5 stars. They are cute and work well. I am not sure how long these lids are going to last...should not go in the dishwasher. The size is really nice for prep work.
