SuperFOILSF40 Deluxe Multi-foil Insulation for Roofs, Lofts and Walls

Just finished insulating my conservatory roof with this and what a difference it's made. The conservatory is warm and usable now. A little fiddly to use but not a problem, and you do need very sharp scissors to cut it and strong hands! but that's all. When you are attaching this to battens with screws, if you compress the area that you are screwing to before putting the screw through and hold it down there is no problem, otherwise you will wrap the fibre filling around the screw and be in all sorts of a pickle. I had no trouble with it. It's totally changed the conservatory into a room now, and all condensation has disappeared, so for a small outlay I've got a big return. I recommend this product highly.

It was the right quality product for what I needed

HAVE USED THIS TO LINE THE UNDERSIDE OF THE RAFTERS IN MY HOUSE AND CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT IT IS THE BEES NEES !EASY TO INSTALL, BUT AN EXTRA PAIR OF HANDS IS A MUST DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE ROLLS.ROLL OUT TO LENGTH REQUIRED, CUT WITH A STRONG PAIR OF SCISSORS, HOLD UP TO RAFTERS AND FIX ON EACH RAFTER, RUN ANOTHER LENGTH BENEATH THE FIRST, OVERLAP AS PER INSTRUCTIONS AND SEAL ALL JOINTS WITH ALUMINIUM TAPE AS PER INSTRUCTIONS SO THAT AN AIR TIGHT SEAL IS PRODUCED.ONCE DONE YOUR LOFT/HOUSE BECOMES IMMEDIATELY FAR WARMER.CANT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH.

This product is complete rubbish, the layers within wrap themselves around the screws when fitting, forming a solid mass, which prevents the counter battens from sitting tightly against the roof rafters in order to receive a level plasterboard finish. RenCo Architectural.

I bought a whole garden studio with this stuff used as the insulation material, it is utterly useless- cold in winter and hot in summer and more than this as of that's not disappointing enough it has zero sound insulation properties which was really important to me as I was trying to get away from noisy neighbours but if anything the sound is amplified!! Really sold a dud here don't fall for it. Go for conventional product. Also when screwing into wall cavities it has the amazing ability to snarl your drill bits and render them also useless. Someone mustv worked hard to develop such an annoying set of disadvantages.
