No problems with product at all

I only use these for specialty needs. They don't last very long.

I do a lot of auto-work on rusted out piles of junk. If a bolt is too stuck to come out, these are my go-to for grinding the heads off. Works super quick, and keeps me from over-grinding, and easy to get in where I need to.

Gets the job done, but doesn’t last long due to the grit falling off.

Perfect for my makita electric file. These belts cut right thru steel.

I you are looking for this off the wall size sanding belt, this is the place.I received it quickly and at a good price.I tried ordering through my local stores, It would have taken three times as longto get since is a unique item not readilly carried on the shelf.I would buy again through Amazon.

Very disappointed with the durability of these belts. I'm a metal sculptor/fabricator and the makita sander is a great tool for grinding welds in a 90 degree inside corner. The problem is that I have to use so many belts to grind a piece that it makes a measurable financial impact on the piece. I am now opting to buy a 3/8 x 13 belt sander because quality abrasive companies make belts in that size. I'm sure it will only take a few weeks for the purchase to pay for itself at the rate I'm burning through Makita belts. Although I like the sander a lot, I should have checked on belt availability before purchasing. Seeing that Makita was the only one who made belts in that size would have caused me to make a different buying decision. Other reviewers are saying that the belts hold up great on wood, but if you intend to use them on steel, look at a different sander.

Occasionally I need some sharpening help with various tools and knives and this smaller width belt fulfills that need. The belts claim to be for wood and metal and my use so far proves that out.

I have not tried this yet but it is the same as the the belt that came with my Makita DBS180Z 18V Belt Grinder only a different grit. The belt that came with it works very good on both metal & wood. Have not had a chance to compare to other brands yet though.

The original Makita belts that came with the sander last until the abrasive is total worn out. These belts last about five minutes and the tape that holds them together breaks, making a brand new belt useless. These fit Makita, but I doubt these are actually made by Makita. Unfortunately I bought a bunch of these and everyone has broken after a few minutes.Update: I realized that the little tape that holds these belts together is the same as fibreglass reinforced packing tap. I bought a roll at : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0992Q2WXK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I cut small pieces to fix the broken belts and put some on top of new belts to reinforce them. The belts can be repeatedly fixed with the fibreglass tape until they are worn out. A work around, but they should never break to begin with.
