No it is not. Once it folds out it is set at that angle.

Q: Is this suitable for a Boss katana 50 mk2 Amplifier

I'm using this stand with an old Vox Valvetronix AD50VT which a 1x12 amp and according to the manual weighs 20Kg - which is pretty heavy. I looked up your Boss Katana ii amp spec on G4M and it appears to be 11.7 Kg. It's also a 1x12 speaker so there doesn't seem to be any reason why this stand wouldn't be compatible. Rod

Generally bass amps are heavier than a guitar amp. I bought this brand new and it lasted 3 gigs before the screws came lose and the stand collapse. I would not recommend this based on my experience.
