They work fine.
I am surprised how much hair they manage to pull from the bathroom sink.

Chaep and easy to use
I bought one of those wire snakes with the velcro that worked okay, so I thought I'd try these because the price was very reasonable. They're nothing fancy, but does a good job clearing hair from a drain.

Nice for slow drains
This is a simple way to remove hair and clogs in drains. I keep one at every drain and reuse them. They work well for clogs near the surface.

So-so
I've used a few types of these things. I think this type is only so-so. The tip is the only portion of the stick that collects the hair. I prefer the type that has jagged edges down the shaft to have more surface to collect the hair. Do they work? Yes, but not as well as other types.

Saving a bundle by not having to buy chemical drain clearers.
In my bathroom sink I have a small gap in the plug and basin and didn't think this long semi-rigid stick would work, so I've been buying Drano/Liquid Plumbr seems like monthly. Out of desperation I though I would see if I could jam this stick and get it to work, and it did! It's a bit gross to describe this stick working (hair and gunk extraction), but it was long enough to get the whole pipe cleared out, running better than it has since new. Although the stick is semi-rigid, it does flex and even going through the plumbing turns, I was able to turn it to extract the gunk and free the drain. What more can you ask for from a 60 cent item? I used it in the shower and extracted gunk, no problem. I guess if you shower plumbing is real deep it may not be long enough as mentioned by other reviewers, but the shower I tried is on the second floor, no issue,
