Castrol Braycote 868 is a grayish-black homogeneous mixture of molybdenum disulfide and silicone oil. Castrol Braycote 868 is designed for use on slow-speed sliding surfaces operating at temperatures up to 400ºC (752ºF) and as an anti-seize compound on threaded parts which operate at temperatures up to 760ºC (1400ºF).
