I have a small home in Florida and wanted the feel of a fireplace and didn’t want to spend a fortune. This is the perfect size for my home. The flame is pretty and it warms up my small living area nicely. The remote control works well. It is portable and I can take it from room to room easily. It was delivered as promised.

I absolutely love this fireplace insert. I've seen other ones that don't look nearly as good and are $200-$300 more than this one was. I had an old chimney fireplace in my bedroom but the old logs I had we're starting to look too fake. so I ordered this one the dimensions were exactly correct but were few off from my opening but I knew that. I just put some mesh screen on the sides and black metal on the top and it looks amazing. I love it and the flames looks so real and so cozy in my bedroom.

I think this is a real good product especially for the price. It works very well and I like the fact it provides heat from out of its upper vent, rather than the heat coming through a bottom vent.I installed this fireplace insert into an existing fireplace mantle, and it looks really nice in my living room

At first the company sent me a giant insert when I ordered the smaller insert. After a long strain on emails they sent me the correct one. It fits perfectly in my tv stand (I’m super excited about that). The heat output is nice! I live in a 200 year old house with very little instillation. You can imagine how cold winters get! I’m excited to see if this will help us stay warmer, so far my living room feels cozy and it’s 40 degrees. I gave it four starts just because the amount of extra time I had to wait to get the instead fix up sorted out.

After you turn on the general power button and turn on the power button to the flame all the lights go on including the heating lights for both 1 and 2 and it starts heating immediately. You have to turn off the power to heater then and press the heater 1 or 2 button. It was confusing. Not straight forward. It's been a while since I've used it now as I put it in my RV. If they are all the same you will see what I mean when you operate. Having said that, when you figure out what buttons to push for what function, it works great. It fit perfectly in my little overcab cabinet where my 19" TV used to be. I've only used the heat on level 1 as the sides and bottom are berber type carpet and you're not suppose to put it on carpet. I only run it a little while. I think I'm going to get some reflectix or something to put under and on the sides for safe measure. You have to make sure the vents on top are not covered by anything. I'm happy with it so far and really like the way it looks in my RV. I also got the little battery operated device that makes the crackling sound which I'm glad I did. I put it in the adjacent cabinet and the sound is perfect with the doors closed. Many said the sound was too loud.

The media could not be loaded.  Total fun! I live in CA and we don’t have winters like in Chicago where I’m from so I wanted a bit of mood ski lodge vibe. This was an impulse buy that I thought will be returned. I didn’t expect much after a $129 anything but this heater is super fun and looks believable. Heater is a bit loud but overall it is cozy, warm and builds a cute atmosphere. Perfect for long dark nights or movie watching in the dark. I hope it doesn’t break cause I didn’t get the 5 year warranty... maybe I should. Oh and its only 18” So perfect for a small fireplace. Mine is 22” and this fit is ideal.

The media could not be loaded.  I have no room in my master bedroom for a fireplace, but really wanted one. This stand-alone was a great solution! I plan to frame it with a faux surround frame eventually. The flames are very realistic-even up close! Being in FL, I don't have much use for the heat function, but I tested it and when the heat's on, there's a low fan noise that is pretty quiet. With just the flame feature on and no heat, it's completely silent.So beautiful to look at-so glad I chose this one!

Ihad a wooden fireplace mantel and the heating unit stopped working. This unit was meant to be a replacemtne. Wow, not only fit exactly the specifications, it was SOOO EASY TO INSTALL!! PLug it in, open the cover on the controls - VIOLLA! So darn easy and efficient. I am using it to heat a retail spaceof about 500 sf. I leave the heat part on at night because I have no other way to heat my shop. The flickering wood adds a realistic ambiance. I do love this.
