It didn't brake in transport which I was happy about and the bulb seems well made and sturdy

Good, but short lived.
It did its job beautifully, however, it burned out within just two months. It's in a lamp with the proper wattage, and sees only moderate use, so it's a bit surprising that it didn't last very long.
