Quiet and effective

Purchased this item on June 3. Arrived on the 6th. The unit operated great for 3 weeks. Really impressed. I have it set on the timer mode. Then out of nowhere, the low / high button light does not light up and the unit does not collect water. I have left it off for about an hour. Turned it back on and still nothing. I hear and feel the fans working but no collection of water from the air. I'm in Florida, and we definitely have very high humidity. So lack of humidity isn't the problem. I have emailed customer service for a replacement unit or refund as this unit isn't working. I was impressed with the unit but barely lasting a month. I'm going to leave 1 star for now. Hopefully I got a lemon. If that's the case, I'll update this review once I get a unit that's better.

Tried a few of these and most were really terrible and priced about the same. Not only is this not cheaply manufactured outside of the USA it costs about the same and has a larger capacity than others in the same price range. When compared to the typical white and purple one you can find, this pulled in about 33% - 50% more water per day. Huge difference over time. I highly recommend giving this one a try.

I think this unit is good for my size of house. I have maybe 850 square feet. In 24 hours I should empty twice with this very rainy season. I do once a day. I emptied today after a bad storm and I was back to 70 humidity. Not the machines fault, by no means. I didn't empty in the morning and we are pretty much flooded in areas in my town. I AM VERY PLEASED by this unit. I like the digital reading of the humidity level. Easy to empty water. Automatic shutoff has been GREAT!!

I've had this product for a week set to it's highest setting in a 250sqft room with half of the room being a space with low ceilings, so well within the advertised space limit. I have a humidity sensor and the product is unable to change the humidity. After a week the product hasn't even filled up it's tank with the room being between 40%-50% humidity. I've have a large unit from Frigidaire in my basement that is able to keep the humidity stable after a couple of days and can fill it's tank daily (it is set to drain with a hose now) with about the same starting humidity levels. So, it technically works, but it is not worth the price.

Perfect for small area.

This is really disappointing and is really upsetting to me.This is was advertised as a NEW item, however, what I ended up getting was a return. I took pictures to show what was in the box as soon as I opened it. The unit was slightly dusty and in the unmarked box with some bubble wrap and a return slip. On the back of the slip, had something that looked like a homework assignment with the name Stephanie on it?? Wtf?(provided for your reading pleasure). That was all in the box. BTW my name is not Stephanie (Also, nothing against Stephanie - it’s a lovely name).Regardless, I tried to used the unit and it doesn’t seem like it works. I’ve had it in my bathroom running for the past day where the temperature is 75 and humidity is above 60%. There are no traces of water in the tank. I have it on high and it is also a little louder than I expected.Overall, I’m returning this and thought to at least try it out since I have it in my possession. This has been the first time Amazon has failed me and first time ordering from this company. I really don’t know who is at fault for this, however, I will not re-purchase this dehumidifier nor, buy from this company again. I will look elsewhere.But seriously... wtf? What kind of business practices is this? I strongly don’t recommend this company or product.

Tt works great. I use it to dehumidify a utility/linen closet in my condo. It is able to extract half a gallon of water every 3 or 4 days. It runs quietly. Love it!
