Ancient Lucet for Making Friendship Bracelets, Unique Unusual Gift Idea

On the positive, I was initially upset that it was supposed to take a month to get to the US from the UK, but it arrived much faster. For this price, I was not expecting a super-cool lucet, but it is functional and I could learn the basics from this before deciding to purchase a fancier one. What I was disappointed in was the booklette that came with it. I was under the impression that it had more than one instruction (variations on the basic), but it didn't. Just the basic. I was HOPING for some real-life examples of how to use the cord that it makes. It didn't. Still and all, I am glad I got it, but since the booklette didn't go beyond the basic, or even hint at any, I was disappointed in it.

Great tool for learning how to use a lucet. You can create a decently sized chain rather quickly. As far as creating projects with it, it has rough edges and can pick at the yarn. It is also rather small. The instructions are limited as well, but there are plenty of videos on Youtube with varying methods as well. As far as a starter kit, this is great. But beyond that, you would want to purchase an advanced quality. Probably great for kids though! It would be perfect size for their hands and it is very easy to use!

I was expecting a cheap novelty type kit and I was correct. Do not buy if you want a quality piece. But for curiosity or something to try that won't cost much, it's a winner.

This product simply does it's job, no more, no less. The edges feel smooth and yet it snags; making it a challenge to use.

This item is so cheaply made with splinters, it causes the yarn to snag. It is very poorly made, and therefore, it is way overpriced. I wish I ad not wasted my money.

It is good value for money. It is easy to use. I only marked it down because the stylus was broken on arrival.

only made one thing with it a neckless it would be nice for a child who is learning to make things would be great

Showed up on time. Fairly easy to use. Might be a touch small for weaving leather but its good for hemp or other cord.
