Robust and very easy to put together.
This is a nice-looking and sturdy computer desk that is quite flexible in regards to how you can place it in your room. There are 3 different combinations you can try out but in my opinion putting it in the corner is the best overall, especially when it comes to space. The thing that stands out the most for me with this product is the instructions. For someone who's used to putting together many things from Ikea and various foreign countries, it was such a breathe of fresh air to have such clear and easy to follow instructions come with this desk. It's all so simple. Every piece of the table is labeled with reference numbers on stickers and every type of screw and other small parts are separated into their own packs with their own labels. It also comes with a mini screwdriver and mini wrench, so one could set it up with everything that comes in the box. However, I would recommend using a full size screwdriver on top of what's in the box as the one it comes with - while being adequate for most of the job - is quite small so can be quite fiddly when trying to tighten the screws; hence why you would need a bigger one with more grip (I got an annoying blister on the palm of my hand from all the friction the small one was causing during the tightening process). On top of that the instructions also clearly label every piece of the kit with illustrations on the first page and continue to reference them in every step of the directions so you never once feel lost or confused.I only have two small gripes with the table. First, the height of the side you put your computer monitor: it's a bit too high. I'm 6 foot and when I adjust my seat height all the way down I find my self looking up at my monitor at a slight angle. It's perfectly fine when I raise my chair but then I'm not able to fully extend the keyboard and mouse table (the armrests prevent it from doing so) unless I drop my seat's height ever so slightly from the highest setting. It's a small issue but could potentially get frustrating in the long run.My second issue is a lack of storage. But I could easily buy a set of matching drawers that could fit snugly under the side that doesn't have a shelf.Overall, I'm very pleased with this table. It's sturdy, the instructions are probably the best I've come across and it generally looks and feels good. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a computer desk and isn't fussed about storage.

Imperfect, but decent.
You always get what you pay for with anything, in this case this desk is incredibly cheap for what you get. Yet it is still not perfect, far from it in fact. So i will briefly describe some of the main problems.First of all, the right desk which moves inwards and outwards has two wheels on it. For some ungodly reason they have a lock which stops them turning, the lock is easily turned off yet even more easily turned on. Only a mild brush is needed. Now these locks have no purpose but to annoy, as there will never be a situation where this side-desk moves when you dont want it to. But moving the side desk with the locks on can cause the whole thing to be damaged. For me the stand with the wheels on is now very wobbly. I dont blame the desk construction for this - it is entirely my fault. But be aware, this desks stability is questionable. It is mentioned a few times that this desk is very stable in other reviews. This is... slightly true. It is indeed far more stable than most. Unlike many flatpack desks i actually feel it will likely last a while even with my aforementioned wobbly side. But it could never be described as incredibly stable. The parts have a very small but noticable give in them, even with the tightest screws tied. In short, its still flat pack furniture, which will always be inferior for this sort of thing. Now, i wouldnt mind. Accept for one thing. When i type on the moving keyboard support thing, there is a very small but noticable shake. Extended typing (say for... 5 seconds) causes my monitor to slowly rock from side to side. If i continue fast enough i can get it to shake quite violently. Never a danger, but quite annoying. And that little imperfection is the certain indication that thi product is not perfect. In the end, you get what you pay for again. In this case i firmly believe this desk is probably the absolute best value for money of any desk on this site. But do not fool yourself into thinking it has the same rockhard firmness inherent in ready made furniture. It doesn. It will wobble, and if you - like me - are bothered by this then stay away.I must still give it 3 stars, if only because again - i paid so little for it and its good points are numerous. but if only it was more stable i would have given it a far higher recommendation.

Space Saver!
I got this to replace my old desk and make some space in my office area to enable my wife to have her own desk. We went for different solutions to the problem but for me this one works well.I have plenty of desk space when needed and it all folds away when not in use which makes the room feel bigger. It went together easily and feels sturdy when in use. I have a slight problem fitting my tower PC underneath but managed to work around that and I must admit to missing my drawers for storage. All things considered I am very happy with the purchase and on balance think I have made the right choice.

Desk Review
A decent desk. Good size and the retractable leaf can be fitted to either the left or right hand side, the outer support on the retractable leaf is bit weak however, i accidentally kicked it as i was carrying something when walking past and it now wobbles slightly, nothing serious just annoying that it was so easy to jar loose. Took around an hour to put together, instructions were easy to follow and it came with all the tools needed to put it together, as well as some spare parts, screws, nuts etc.. One annoying aspect i discovered after setting the desk up, my tower would not fit underneath, i'm using an Antec 900 case, so only a medium size case, not even a full tower. The Antec 900 is 46cm in height, (18.1 inches,) whilst the desk only provides just less than 45cms of clearance underneath, so check the height of your case if having it underneath is a necessity, thankfully for me it wasn't.The desk surface has granite like finish, black with grey speckles and has a slightly rough texture to it, which makes it an ideal surface for infra-red or laser mice, smooth enough to not impede mouse movement, but rough enough to give plenty of response. The sliding section for the keyboard is just big enough to fit a Logitech G11 on it, with an inch and a half to spare on either side and has ball bearing sliding mechanism, so it slides in and out silently and easily, it also slides out a considerable distance from the main desk area, which is nice. There is no room for a mouse on the sliding section, but the retractable leaf is ideal for that anyway, you can position it perfectly to rest your arm on and use the mouse on there instead, which is actually much better anyway. All in all, very pleased with this product and worth the money.

Great Idea
This desk is a great Idea, It's smartThe way you close it and make space in the room is amazing, it's also very easy to assemble, the manual it's really straight forward. There is a drawback tough : the size. For someone tall the keyboard support is quite low, and if you set your chair low it will result in an unnatural position with the monitor really high...I also bough an office chair with arm rest......they don't work well together. The arm rest of the chair don't allow me to operate keyboard an mouse comfortably. This however is my mistake, after getting all the mementoes I should have figured out it wasn't right for me.In summary : It's smart, stylish, sturdy and dead easy to assemble, Before buy it you just might want to consider the size..

Watch the weight
I received this item after seeing a health program showing how standing at your computer used more calories therefore lost more weight than when you sit. The parcel arrived and immediately I knew without even opening it that it would be too heavy for the table/desk I intended to stand it on. I'm afraid I ma of the old school of Imperial measures and hadn't realised what the weight should be from the specifications given. As I said I hadn't opened it so sent the item back and was refunded the cost eventually.

Folding Black Computer Desk
Love this desk and personally i feel is well worth the money. Delivered quicker than they estimated which is a bonus. As a new music producer this caters all my needs as it has 3 table tops which in my case i have used the top layer for my PC Monitor and my active speakers, 2ND layer (the one the swivels out) my PC Keyboard and mouse, 3RD one for my midi keyboard oh and also there's a shelf on bottom which i have placed my PC tower on.. you could also fit a printer if you have one. So for me the is just perfect and looks great in my newly decorated room.the materials and components used to make this desk in my opinion is made very well and also they give you a bag spare nuts/bolts etc.. unlike some manufactures. This desk is also incredibly easy to assemble with 2 people and instructions are easy to follow. One thing i will say is this desk stands a lot higher than i imagined but this is no way a bad thing so please don't let it put you off. Overall i am really pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting quality for your buck.

I purchased 2 of these on the 12th July 2013
I purchased 2 of these on the 12th July 2013, about a year ago the feet on both tables fell off, I reattached them until they eventually cracked and now I have 2 tables that are slanted. This is not a big deal for me, because the table still works for what I need it for. However it is no longer safe to put anything of any importance on it because it may slide off. The tables themselves were easy enough to put together.
