Great gun.
I bought this for framing an office in my barn. It took an adjustment to make the nail head go all the way in the wood but it works great now. If the air pressure goes below 100 psi it won't embed the nail all the way but that is an issue with the compressor more so than the gun. Also, it is nearly impossible to find 3.25+ inch full head nails so don't even bother. Although this is what most building codes call for (actually 3.5 inch), no professional framers seem to use it and just ignore the code. Instead, every one seems to use 3 or 3.25 inch D-heads and this is what you will find in most stores. That nail shoots great from this gun and I have had zero jams so far. Just put about 6-8 drops of nailgun oil into the air hose intake, 2-3 drops in the nose of the gun (where the nail shoots out) and oil along the nails every time you reload your nails and it should work fine. Lastly, it does not come with the air hose intake quicksnap valve. You will need an adapter to put on a standard 3/8 inch valve (I got mine at Home Depot), seal it with teflon tape, and off you go.

Replaced an older gun same model
I had a Paslode framing gun for about 20-25 years and it finally quit shooting. All the seals were shot so I tried rebuilding it but it's just plain worn out. So since I had a bunch of 30 degree strip nails that would fit this one I went ahead and got it. Works fine and should last me the rest of my life since I don't do that type of work anymore and will just use it around the house and such

Awesome nailer
What would you do if your Payload gas powered nailer would not fire and the repair bill is close to the price of a new one?Having purchased a small(6gal) compressor a couple of years ago, I bought this nailer instead. A bit on the heavy side in comparison, this nailer won hands down in all other tests I put it through. Having a well stocked supply of 30 degree, full head nails in my inventory, sealed my choice. Smart!

Good as what it's replacing?
This is a replacement for an older, fire damaged Paslode framer I've had for fifteen years or so, and that one only has had one internal seal rebuild in all that time. The 350 appears lighter than the old one and has a more comfortable, rubberized grip. NOT included is the air hose coupler barb, and for a coupla pennies, Paslode could have included the allen wrench for the depth-of-drive adjustment. Also noticed that a full stick of nails won't fit into the magazine without yanking the follower back further than its latched position. Just a nit; have only shot a few fastners so far, and it does what it's supposed to.Oops...my bad. Upon closer inspection, Paslode DID indeed include the allen wrench, nicely tucked away in the handle of the tool. Perfecto.

Love this nail gun
We purchased this because we are building another large garage. My husband really likes it. He's used a few of these, and consequently so have I. This one drives the nails well into the studs. It's balanced well- some tend to lean forward or back, requiring extra effort to keep it upright. That may seem like a small thing, but it really makes a difference over the course of a day. I've held one or two that were a pound or so lighter but weren't balanced as well and they felt awkward to hold. It shoots smoothly. No jam ups or misfires nails. The hook is REALLY handy. That one little piece makes the difference between being able to stay on the ladder while you hook the gun onto something or climbing up and down all day because there's nowhere to set the gun down when you need to. We like it, are glad we bought it and would buy it again.

Solid performer
I just finished my first day with this wonderful framing nailer. It easily doubled my output, erecting a self-designed shed about a third of the way in less than four hours. (Ten years ago I did all the work with a hammer. That was insane.) The price on Amazon, together with free shipping & no tax, made it a killer deal. Plus, my Paslode made it into my hot little hands in about seven days.Others wrote excellent technical reviews and said nice things, so I won't repeat those here. I did discover the depth-of-drive adjustment works for fine tuning, but found you can alter this dramatically by running 100 psi (the upper end of the range), instead of around 80 psi (the lower end). Remember this when driving into 6-by's or larger with 3 and a half inch nails. Most experienced construction guys probably know this, but a neophyte like me found out by trial-and-error. They do not give you this hint in the literature.Anyhow, awesome tool that I'm sure my wife will find me numerous projects to use it on. Buy with confidence.

Great Nailer
In summary, this is a great nailer. If you are considering a "lesser" brand, consider my experience first. I purchased a "store brand" nailer and drove about 2000 nails before the tool broke. I grudgingly purchased this nailer - i didn't want to spend this kind of money on a second nail gun but I am happy I did.- The nailer drove the nails better and with less effort than my previous gun. I was surprised that there could be a difference - a nailer is a nailer, right?- The magazine makes loading strips a breeze - it has a locking mechanism that keeps the opening open for you until you release it- It feels lighter/more comfortable in my hand than my first one- the orange trigger mechanism pictured is perfect. It won't break off like a "pull the trigger type" can- I believe you will need to buy a male 3/8" NPT fitting, mine didn't come with one..
