Q: What's the best extension cord you'd recommend? Looks like AmazonBasics cord (AmazonBasics 16/3 Vinyl Outdoor Extension Cord - 100 Feet) is only 10A?

Q: About how many inches of snow do you think this could cut through. As much as 10" high?

I used it in 10-12 inches of snow last winter & it worked fine. You just need to take it easy with wet snow at that height. Dry snow is absolutely no problem. But anything higher I would say you should do it in 2 passes. It's not as powerful as a gas engine, but it'll get the job done if you use your head. Still easier than shoveling.

Q: Does it come with a cord

No, it does not. It did however dig us out of about 15 inches of snow last week. I used the 120 foot cord that we used for our corded lawnmower. I would try to find a cord that will not stiffen up in the cold. I'm not sure such a thing exists, but that would be the best for the job. The machine is not heavy and moves snow like you would not believe!

Q: Can i store the sj623e outside on my deck (using a snowblower cover) for the entire winter season? deck is exposed. thanks.

I store mine outside under a cover all year. No problems so far (2years)
