Academy US Navy USN SB2U-3 Vindicator Battle of Midway Plastic Model Kits 1/48 Scale

This AMT kit is the same as the old Accurate Miniatures Vindicator. From the same great molds. No flash, great detail, sharp decals. Plus you get photo etched lap belts and masks for the canopy. The cockpit, landing gear, engine and wheel wells is Tamiya quality. Recessed panel lines where appropriate. Great representation of the fabric wings and fuselage, but not over done. Truly a great kit especially, if you want an example of one of the "Defenders of Midway." It is a complicated kit though, not a kit for a beginner.
