This kit is really easy to use and works. I followed the instructions and left the dish sitting out in various rooms and the basement in my house and every dish has different types of mold in them. It doesn’t seem like an hour would be long enough to catch mold spores but it is. I ordered another kit so I could test my mom and my brothers houses to see if they have mold in their homes too. I actually have the same type (Aspergillis) of mold that ultimately killed my dad so this kit told me exactly what I wanted to know. It does take a couple of days to grow so you don’t get the results instantly but any of the accurate tests are going to be the same way.

I emailed my results and got a reply the following day. The kit includes safety measures like gloves. The agar plates are triple-packed for sterility.Very pleased.Just don't forget to place one of the plates outside for comparing to your test area. We found that there was a lot more mold outside (plate 2) than in our home, and if we hadn't done that, we would have been worried about the mold results in our home.

The dishes are set up for growth so you will see something after 3-4 days that seems scary. I emailed photos for help identifying and the response was quick. Easy to use, just open lid, wait an hour, close lid and bag it. Or use swabs on suspicious surfaces.

Great quality and accuracy. Very functional. Easy to use picture quality in the little pamphlet was good as well. These things came on handy when my landlord wasn't taking me seriously about the issues in my apartment. Did a few small areas and he couldn't deny what was in his face after that. Was moved into a new place within a week

The only negative abt these is that the plates leaked a lil liquid in the bag, so maybe they were exposed to heat during transport.I felt like I went back to my college microbiology lab! This was kinda fun & I'm grateful to know what strains were growing in the bathroom of the apt I just moved into.The folks at the lab emailed me quickly with a comprehensive report & recommendations of how to keep fungi at a minimal level in my environmentI recommend this product & am keeping my spare dishes handy in case I notice anything else grow. High quality & amazing that they offer a free analysis via email.But overall I think between the various phases of bleach, anti-mold paint, hypochlorous acid maintenance that I have the situation undercontrol

This is a very cost effective way to find out if you have a mold problem that requires professional mitigation. The kit is easy to use and comes with a small photo gallery of some common molds. I couldn’t identify the one I had, so sent pictures to the manufacturer who replied the next day. Mine is not dangerous, fortunately, and was easily eliminated with bleach. It probably would have cost several hundred dollars to get the same result from a professional service.

It’s a very interesting experience. Learned a lot and it’s nice to acquire knowledge to fully understand the surrounding environment. They are very responsive and helpful. The product is user friendly.
