Hello Marianne, Thanks for your interest in Zero Odor . . . Our Zero Odor Multi-Purpose product is perfect for your mattress. We do recommend customers to first test Zero Odor in inconspicuous location just to be sure there are no issue with color fastness. Once you have tested the area, the best way to remove the odors on the mattress is to first thoroughly wipe it down with a sponge/cloth and warm water (no chemicals) and allow to dry (you can use a hair dryer to force dry if you have one). Once dry, spray moderately with Zero Odor (DO NOT STURATE) then allow to dry. Please remember depending on how deeply penetrated the odor is you may have to spray several times. As for your sheets we recommend using our Zero Odor Laundry product. Be Safe! Zero Odor Support Team
