PedalPro Mudguard Rear Bicycle Rack with Reflector

I only need this to carry my lock and repair kit when we go on long journeys So its ok. But the reflector doesn't fit so just glued it on and the instructions are basic. The clamp needs to be unscrewed fully to remove so not as quick as normal. But it seems sturdy also like the mudgaurd fitted as looks nice. Max load sticker stating 10kg max. If you have limited space on your seat stem then it will not fit as on my partners bike.

Pretty much OK for the price. Needs some hefty effort during tightening to prevent it from moving. The mudguard attachment kept catching my back wheel so I didn't use it. The reflector refused to fit and stay on but I use a flashing light so that wasn't really an issue. If a driver can't see me with my Dayglo jacket and flashing lights on bike and helmet I don't think the reflector would save an accident! I've got a garden mile Expanding Hi-viz Cycling Bag also from Amazon which contains tools, innertubes and other bits with room for a light jacket or jumper. Holds on with very secure straps. Quite happy with this.

It’s flimsy especially the mud guard that doesn’t come around wheel enough but it’s cheap and you get what you pay for , be great for kids bike though

The clamp on the seat post sticks out too far and on a long ride rubs my thigh. It’s installed on a voodoo hybrid. The screw loving the clamp I’ve had to replace as tightening has threaded it. It will have to do fir now but I will be replacing it.

Swapped from a heavier one that fixed to seat post & bike frame. problem was with weight on, kept snapping spokes. This one so far so good, even with weight on, spokes still intact. Shelf can move from side to side a bit, but only to be expected with single seat post fixing. Bungies fit for purpose, if strapping something large, use bigger ones. Easy to fit, carries decent weight. Liked so much bought another for second bike.

I'm pleased with this purchase. Very easy to install on the bike. Easy to take off & put back on, which was important when I had punctures to repair. I've use it regularly in rough conditions (farm tracks, etc), with a reasonably heavy load (e.g. two bottles of water and other kit), and it has proven robust so far.It is moderately heavy, so maybe you want to think twice if you're sensitive to the weight of your bike. But its been perfect for my purposes.

Value for money. May need more padding to fit smaller frame sizes. But it does the job!

It swings around at the slightest knock, putting it out of line with the bike and changing what space I need to be aware of. The elastic straps don't hold anything on particularly securely, and the leftover elastic underneath after you've tightened it flaps against the wheel (poor design). I also can't use my pannier bag on it (which I bought from the same seller at the same time) - it doesn't fit or attach properly.
