I’ve got four Eero 7 Outdoor units spread across five acres, connected to Starlink, and I couldn’t be happier with how well they work. I’m consistently getting 150 Mbps+ over Wi-Fi, even at the far edges of the property. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this reliable or fast.Setup was a breeze—just follow the steps in the app, and you’re good to go. Once they were up and running, I was blown away by how much range these things have. No dead zones, no signal drops… just smooth, fast internet everywhere, even out by the barn and around the garden.They’re built tough too—rain, heat, and cold haven’t been an issue at all. The weatherproof design holds up perfectly, and they’re small and discreet enough that they blend right in outdoors.If you’ve got a large property and need solid outdoor Wi-Fi, these are a game-changer. Wow! Better than I had expected. I have an Eero 6 and this attached to my wifi without a problem. The set up was simple and easy not to mention fast. The coverage s so much better than expected. We have a barn with lean to on our property and the coverage goes to the insides of both structures not to mention flawlessly over our 5 1/2 acres. Highly recommend love the Eero system!

The router is great, however it has to get a ding due to the power supply. I don’t want to run this with a wireless backhaul. I want to run it wired. The power supply cord is nice and beefy, but it could have been modified to also have a “data in” port so you don’t have to buy a separate injector to power this if you are using a wired backhaul that can’t produce the 30W. That is kind of annoying. Trendnet has an injector for 25ish bucks here on Amazon that I bought and it works just fine for data and power.

Easy to install, fast speeds, and great coverage. The home automation support was the critical factor with the support for matter and other protocols.

Every thing Eero stated this would allow you to have enternet outside my home.I went through all the requirements of setup as per instructions.I took the the time to try more than 3 different locations outside my home.1: I had only had 2 items that showed that was connected to eero outside side unit.2: different location nothing showed as being connected.3: different location nothing showed as being connected to the eero unit.As much as I wanted this unit to solve my connection problem for my outside POE outside security cameras, which I have 5 different security cameras.I even allow myself keeping the unit for several extra days from the time I received it until I returned the eero unit to Amazon.I have my doubts that Eero did enough testing before they released the unit to be purchased.What I thought they would have considered is the outside unit would have extra places where you could connect other devices directly into the outside unit.I have the Eero pro Max 7 installed inside my home as well as eero pro 6e units throughout my home because of the square footage of my house as well my home is 3 story home.I think they should also designed the eero outside unit should had the option of just a power supply and not a RJ54 cable power connection.If the developer decides to go back to the drawing board and create the outside unit in many features and options as the Eero pro Max 7 has, then I believe customers will be likely purchase this outside unit.I placed the pre-order and October 23, 2024.I returned the item before the 21 first of November 2024, and now Eero is just now sending me an email saying that I should receive my refund by December 13th 2024.It didn't take Eero that long to withdraw the funds for my bank to pay for it before it was shipped.And I had been giving 3 different dates for the refund. They received the return by the 29th of November.Now it takes eero according to my work days, it right at 13 days to receive my refund

For years now I've been hopeful that Eero would introduce an outdoor extender that would work with their system and they finally did. It was packaged like a high-end electronic component. The antenna itself feels like quality and has some weight to it. I chose to use the clips for installation on vinyl siding and it mounted up perfectly. Connection through the app was a breeze and the performance is awesome. We have 6.4 acres with a detached garage and barn a couple hundred feet from the house and both structures are now covered with wifi. I’ve since installed a camera inside the barn. I'm even picking up solid wifi from my Neighbor's yard. Couldn't be happier!

The Eeros outdoor 7 is an excellent product. However, after two attempts to try to connect with my network after about 15 minutes, my entire network went down. Before I returned the product, I called eeros and customer service was superb. They made modifications to my network on their end and ever since then I haven’t had any problems. I highly recommend this product. Kudos to customer service at Erros! I now get strong wifi at the pool and sauna room. I can’t wait for summer!
