Clear, confidence building intro to ai for true beginners
This guide shines at breaking big ideas into simple, digestible pieces, so terms like machine learning, neural networks, and NLP finally click without the math headache. The pacing is friendly, the writing is plainspoken, and the seven day structure gives you small wins that build momentum. I especially appreciated the focus on ethics and practical, non coding skills alongside hands on exercises, useful whether you’re testing tools for work or just getting oriented. If you’ve been curious about AI but intimidated by jargon, this is an accessible starting point that helps you understand the landscape and points you to good next steps.

Clear and Practical AI Guide for Beginners
This book gives a very clear and simple introduction to AI, perfect for someone starting from scratch. The explanations of concepts like machine learning and neural networks are easy to follow, and the exercises make it more engaging. I liked how it connects AI to real-world examples and future opportunities. A small downside is that some sections felt a bit brief, and more detail could help deeper learning. Still, it’s a very accessible and motivating read for beginners

Truly a useful, and easy to follow guide to AI
One of the things I really liked about this guide is that not only does he clearly out what he's going to cover and how he's going to cover it but he takes you through it step by step and explains things that to some might be like oh that's easy that's when an algorithm is or that's how you create a learning machine but in his book he actually lays it out too a step-by-step on what those things are and how to go about utilizing them and not once it's through his entire book do you feel like "I'm stupid for not knowing this"It is all very laid out so that anybody can do it, and anybody can learn how to do it as long as the desire is there to learn how to do it.Here are the topics he covers.Understanding AI Fundamentals: This chapter lays the groundwork by explaining basic AI concepts, its evolution, and how it mimics human intelligence.Overcoming Challenges in AI Learning: We address common challenges faced by beginners, offer strategies to overcome them, and discuss the importance of AI ethics.Generative AI and Its Creative Potential: Here, we explore the fascinating world of generative AI, its applications in creative fields, and the ethical considerations surrounding it.AI in Everyday Life: This chapter showcases how AI is already integrated into our daily lives, from personalized online experiences to smart homes and healthcare.AI Tools and Resources for Beginners: This chapter is your go-to guide for the best AI tools and resources available, helping you navigate the wealth of information out there.Hands-On Projects with AI: Get ready to put your knowledge into practice with a series of hands-on AI projects designed for beginners. The Future of Work with AI: We explore how AI is transforming the job market, the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven world, and the ethical considerations surrounding job displacement.Advanced AI Trends and Innovations: The final chapter offers a glimpse into the exciting future of AI, covering topics like quantum computing, AI in space exploration, and the evolution of AI itself.Very well done. 👏 👏 👏

Made the complex simple
I have been involved with AI for about 6 months now and loved a lot of things about it: it helped with content creation, with customer interaction, artistry and a host of other things that I had never utilized and in some cases, never heard of. In my younger years I toyed a lot with programming and was familiar with the term "machine language." Somehow the author, with unbelievable finesse, thought, and creation has created a book that takes a topic so huge as AI, (I didn't know how much AI was already in our lives), and broke it down that it seems a 4th grader would understand it. This book will be one of those books that I constantly return to for it's knowledge and it's wisdom (and let's not forget the glossary in the most unbelievable spot but best spot to put it) in handling the new and exciting world of AI. Thank you for your work and helping people like me who want to use it, understand how and what potential I have to contribute to it.

good to understand it beter
I was really and I mean really scared about the AI revolution but after reading this book I feel better - since I understand things much more - I cannot say I am an expert, of course not - but I feel better and i understand it a little bit better.

Not a technical book
Bennett's style is friendly and enthusiastic. He becomes both a cheerleader and a friendly guide to AI concepts. However, be aware the book is geared toward complete novices. This is a book I'd give to my 80 year old mother to let her learn what this AI thing everyone is talking about is. If you have a single programming book on your shelf, or if you have an inkling about what k-means clustering is, you're already too advanced for this book. The first half the book is basic explanations of what AI is, and Bennett's enthusiasm is clearly evident. It mad for a good read. The second half the book is the interactive activities, and is where the wheels come off. The activities are done using premade AI websites like Scratch and Zapier, and are geared toward making chatbots and other canned activities. Worse, the instructions are very generic and there is a minimum amount of explanation about each step. At the end you might have a chatbot, but you'll have little understanding about what each step did.
