Got these for my husband. He used them on his 2002 Ultra Glide even though that's not technically what these are for. Says they work great and were super easy to install. No modifications to the bars needed.

If you don't have a Throttle By Wire bike and require the use of a throttle cable to actuate your fuel injection system or your carburetor, you WILL need a plug for the end of the bar to even out the width.Since "TBW" setups use a piece that locks into the end of the bar, if you don't use "TBW" the plug is necessary to make up for the bit of the bar that's cut off for the "TBW" to slide into....That being said, the fit and finish of these bars happens to be great! I did have to chase the threads on one side of the riser portion, just because during machining it looked like some metal got left behind. But once I did that, the risers mounted up to my 1975 Ironhead Sportster without any issues. These are also setup to run wiring internally which makes for a super clean look. I ended up running an internal throttle cable with a bar end, internal throttle setup for an even cleaner look.All in all, I'm very happy with these bars!
