I’ve bought this John 40 as my old one that uses a fan to generate the white noise through baffles was all nicely cable tidied away in my bedroom. This had a great range of sounds although the person going shush quite creepy. All I wanted to do is white noise and that’s what I used. It did last the whole night, I was at the charge it the following day otherwise it wouldn’t get through the next night. Of course if you leave it plugged in it’s not an issue but I thought I’d mention it.Otherwise it’s convenient to use and does the job.

Cons:This little gadget is indeed pocket-sized, and it becomes easy to just pop from room to room or slip into a bag for travel.The main thing I have been using so far is the white noise setting, which has been great to get the kids down to bed. It is just so calming with that steady sound-especially, I would say, when they're in a new environment.I also like that it's rechargeable-meaning no need to plug it in overnight or change batteries anytime soon.The timer is really nice, I can have the thing on for 30, 60, or 90 minutes or just leave it through the night if need be.Besides being great to sleep with, this is perfect to mask background noise while one is working or studying.Verdict:It has become a great bedtime tool, with the white noise setting especially helpful to offer just the right level of comfort and continuity to help settle the little ones down. Compact, easy to use, it has made a difference already-convenient for home and away. Great little device, versatile, really helps.

The quality of sounds it produces are excellent, and there is a great range from birds, to water, rain, waves, lullabies and various white noise-type sounds. When switched on it remembers the volume and sound last used, and you can set it to turn off after 30, 60 or 90 minutes.There is not much else to say other than that this really is a high quality well made product. It is an easy five stars from me. The mint colour is also lovely.The price at the time of review was around £24 which is a fair price to pay for good quality.

I struggle to sleep when travelling and I find playing white noise in the background really helps. I love how compact this white noise machine is as I can tuck it down the side of my suitcase. The sound quality is excellent. The rechargeable battery is so handy when travelling.
