Great vegetarian substitute for fish oil. I am relieved that I can provide everything my growing child needs during pregnancy. They are easy to take and have no taste, big plus when nauseous! Unlike fish oil pills I took as a kid, you would taste that for a long time afterwards. Thank you for such and amazing product that helps keep my family strong and healthy.

Absolutely LOVE this product! The capsules are small and easy to swallow and there's no bad aftertaste as with some omegas out there. Its vegan sourced and they have rosemary oil as a preservative which in itself is amazing for digestion along with several other health benefits! Love my Austin, TX company! They have a customer for life with me!

The Algal oil is good but it's not fish oil or black seed oil.Ever since Costco discontinued their enteric coated fish oil (wah!), I've been trying different omega-3 oils from the Healthy Fats Co. Here's my take:Fish OIlHigh quality, super-low mercury content - good for cholesterol, dry eye (recommended by my opthamologist), not so good for joint pain (arthritis)Black Seed oil (cumin seed)Good for cholesterol, dry eye, awesome for joint painAlgal DHA oilGood for cholesterol, OK for joint pain (there is some faint pain when it rains), lousy for dry eye.It took about two weeks on the algal oil before I noticed my dry eye was just plain out of control. I switched to a mixture of algal and fish oils and the dry eye is resolving. Please note, I needed 4 capsules of the Costco fish oil to eliminate the dry eye (normal serving is 2 caps). I'm on two capsules of the algal oil (serving size is three caps) and 1 capsule of the Healthy Fats fish oil (normal serving is 2 caps). I do have very bad dry eye so others may find the algal oil is just fine. But for me, i went from - don't need eye drops to - eye drops don't help. But no matter how you slice this problem, Healthy Fats is doing better than Costco. Oh, how those years and years of loyalty were completely misplaced!I would call this a good product but not a replacement for other equally excellent products. But it is always good to have such overwhelmingly useful options.

I enjoyed using this product. I found that taking this regularly improved the health and moisture level of my skin and scalp. It also helped dissipate joint pain in my knees and back. I noticed these benefits after taking this regularly for several weeks. I like that the softgels are easy to swallow. They also do not have an aftertaste. As a result, taking these regularly was easy. This product is also priced well. Thank you!

I initially bought these to supplement my prenatal vitamin since it was lacking DHA and omegas. At first, I really liked them - I felt they were reasonably priced, liked that they were vegan and easy to take with only the occasional weird "of the sea" taste. I contacted the company multiple times via their social media page for help with purchasing through a promotion they offered but never received any assistance. After an initial response from them promising to follow up, that was it! I checked back in with them multiple times before they just stopped responding. I ended up switching to another brand (Purity Products vegan Omega 3-6-9) that I found I like much better.

I am not vegan but I still see no point in getting DHA from a ground up fish if it actually comes from algae. With algae there are fewer biological concentration risk factors such as mercury and the DHA is still well concentrated. It also costs similarly to what Fish Oil costs so I think the price is quite reasonable for the high quality of the product. I will buy this Algae DHA again, Thanks for making a great product Healthy Fats Co!

My pregnant wife loves to supplement with prenatal DHA, so after having issues with a very foul fishy smell from another common store brand (Rainbow Light I believe); we gave this alagal DHA a shot and she was very pleased. I enjoy it myself as well and like the feeling of wellness it gives me. All around great product at a much better price.

I bought this for my dog since the dog-specific vitamin c product she was taking brought her alkalinity down to only 7. This would be twice as strong as that product and I wouldn't be doubling up on the weird dog palate pleasing nonsense in the other one. She had bloodwork done yesterday. Since a pH reading of 7 in February, with this supposedly stronger product, her pH rose to 7.5. Hmmm...I have my other dog on a less strong product, also human grade, and his pH was 6. I'm switching my girl over to that one and putting this in the trash.
