(2024 Upgrade) AIPER Surfer S1 Solar Powered Robotic Pool Skimmer with APP Support, Monitor Pool Temperature, Dual Charging Modes, Surface All Day, Ideal for All Swimming Pool Types

I have now a Aiper pro S1 pool cleaner and I cannot say enough good things about this "Aiper pro s1" cleaning unit. I charge it (2 to 2 1/2 hours for a full charge) to its full charging capacity and it will run for around 2 1/2 hours which is more than enough considering the size o my pool. This unit a a must have for cleaning equipment. Its has a powerful suction to pick up the dust and debris that lays on the floor of your pool. I'm totally 100 % satisfied with the workings of this Aiper Pro s1. I also purchased the Surfer s1 above cleaning unit. I found out that 5 to 7 hours was more that enough with still an enormous amount of charge left in the unit in case you wanted to run the Surfer unit longer. It runs on top of the Water cleaning the debris that floats. Its keeps you from using a pole net to clean the surface of the pool. This is a great additional to the things I must have to keep my pool clean. You will not go wrong in purchasing this Surfer (above water cleaning unit) S1 unit. A full 5 star rating in my book for these two units. Thank you Aiper, you just made my pool cleaning days easier.

I have had it about a year now. One motor quit and ai returned it and they fixed it no charge. Works great in my salt pool.

Does not do what it is supposed to do: Skim stuff off the surface of the water. I bought this a few months ago and opened the box last week to open the pool for the season. Big mistake. Should have opened it immediately and learned that it is useless for its stated purpose and returned it immediately. I have reached out to the Aiper customer service line ( I knew I was in trouble when I found a card in the box that said 'don't return this call us!'). The customer service representative was unable to help, seemingly only able to read a prompt that got me no where. In short the device skims nothing. Completely useless. Do not buy.

It worked just fine right out of the box. It cleans the pool’s surface. However, I had to return it for a repair around day 35-40. Customer service was great! Battery life is great with the solar panel charging.

The basket is extremely spacious and sturdy, capturing an impressive amount of surface debris with ease. One of my favorite features is the solar charging, which keeps the skimmer running without the need for constant A/C charging or attention.The Aiper app is a game-changer. It gives me complete control over the unit and real-time updates on its activity. If the skimmer ever gets stuck, I can effortlessly free it up by manually controlling it from the app without even needing to see the unit! Or I can just turn it off and let it drift away from the trouble spot and then start it back up all with the app. This level of control and convenience is unmatched.Having tried both the Surfer S1 and the Betta SE Plus, I can confidently say the Surfer S1 is the superior choice, especially on windy days. Being that the Betta SE Plus is lighter, the added weight of the Surfer S1 gives it the stability to perform better in challenging conditions. The Surfer S1 has excellent avoidance guidance sensors.On top of all that, Aiper’s customer service is phenomenal. I had a minor issue with the first unit shutting off early, but Sandy from Aiper immediately sent me a replacement. She provided top-tier service and even shared a promo code to help me save a little on the purchase. I’ve never experienced such outstanding customer care.With fall leaves soon to be an issue, especially for those like me who keep the pool open year-round, the Surfer S1 is a must-have. Don’t hesitate to buy—it’s a fantastic investment!EDITED: I had a problem with the Surfer getting stuck on the first step into the pool at a certain water level even with the leg extenders down to prevent it from going over that step. I purchased a short black rubber 3/4"ID heater hose, cut a 2" section warmed up the end of the hose to make it softer and then slid it up over the leg extender for just the 2 front legs, now the Surfer bumps that shallow step and doesn't get the under belly stuck on that step anymore with the very changing water level. The hose is black so its not even noticeable.
