I never thought I could find a product that would work so well for my use case. The next door neighbor's small dogs yap incessantly. I had to put this high up due to a fence being in the way if it was any lower (about the 8 feet, when product says not to put over 5) but with the way it hangs, it can sort of tilt directionally toward the ground if you do it right. There is also a small tree between and it still works great. I can't believe the peace this little product has given me. It's not perfect, but it's seriously worth a try. It's pretty sensitive so it will pick up random noises other than dogs barking (like birds chirping). Also, the packaging and instructions are full of spelling errors, so initially, I thought the quality would be subpar.The main reason why I left this review is because after having it out there, I got used to the quiet. They started barking again so I checked and the battery was drained. Once I replaced the battery, the barking stopped again. If that's not proof for me, I'm not sure what is. The battery runs out pretty fast so invest in some rechargeable 9V batteries and prepare to change them often, but that is a small price to pay for the peace of mind.

5 outta 5 all day long!! I have a 65 pound Labradoodle and a 20 pound miniature schnauzer. I was so stressed out because my dogs incessant barking. They barked all the time! It was driving me crazy. The older my dogs got the worse the barking got I swear. You couldn’t fart too loud or they would start barking. I’ve tried bark collars. I’ve tried bark collars with remotes. I’ve tried different deterrent boxes none of it worked. This is the first thing that has actually worked, my blood pressure and the tension in my body has gone down because my dogs have finally stopped barking all the time.

It works and works~ and makes me sooooo happy ! If you are considering for any kind of dog barking issue, I am highly recommended this item.

I live with my dog at a campground where I host. There's a lot of traffic people, dogs, he was constantly barking so I thought I would try this instead of a bark collar. It is very small and I was skeptical, but it has minimized the barking by three quarters I would say. He's learning to do a low bark to avoid the sound I'm guessing. It runs on an 8 volt battery and has four settings for distance.

One small yappy one and a large one that barks only when the little one keeps barking. It was driving me INSANE!I tried this one and IMMEDIATELY the dog started acting very different when barking and within a few minutes the dog stopped barking and limited their barking significantly. Now the little one barks only like 5% as much as before.THX THX THX!

We live in a rural neighborhood and almost every house has a dog(s), and all too often they love to bark. Whether for good reason or not, doesn’t matter the time, day and night…they bark. We purchased this product in hopes it would encourage and deter our neighbors dogs from mindless barking, and to our surprise so far we’ve noticed less barking! Installation was easy and quick.

This small device works, helped quiet both of my French bulldogs who bark at anything they think is coming to the front door. Within the month I had it on, the device stopped working, so I opened the back to replace the battery and a wire that connects to the 9v battery unit was detached completely. So be careful when replacing the battery, the device will become useless if the same happens to you

I noticed that the LED signifying that it was emitting noise was going off every second. Which means that this device was probably constantly emitting noise to nearby dogs even though they weren't barking, which is cruel. I contacted the seller about the issue, and I dont think that they spoke much English, because the only response I got was "Hello, no problem." I took this to mean that there really wasn't an issue with the device, but found out that the batteries died after two days of use, which makes me really do think that this was constantly emitting noise non-stop. It's a shame because a better microphone could have made this a handy device.
