Great resource
I have been studying for my Network+ and this book has been great so far. I am 5 chapters away from finishing the text and it has been solid. The author is really good at explaining things. I love how he repeats concepts over and over to help the information stick. I have always struggled with subnetting and hexadecimal concepts, but now I can subnet in my head and on paper within seconds on my own after reading the chapter on subnetting because he has numerous examples that you practice in that chapter to help you learn. Get your pen and paper ready :)I work in cybersecurity and this book has also been a great resource at work as well. I hope it helps others learn networking like it has for me. Good luck in your studies!

Easy like Sunday morning
I love how easy and digestible the information is. It comes with a year of free practice questions with electronic flash cards. They really made dense information feel lighter. I’m using this along with some Udemy courses.

Buy it and study for the Cert. It's worth it!
Good textbook, supplement with videos from YouTube/ Corsea/Foundational videos. Do as many questions as you can find. Passing the test is definitely possible.

Test Bank
Discount code doesn’t work and they ruined the test bank making the whole thing kinda worthless.

Not written for anyone new to network
This book isn't written for anyone new to Network. I obtained my A+ certificate two months ago and am working to get my N+ certificate. However, reading this book isn't a smooth sailing. I'm on chapter 4 and many places are so confusing that I have to google it to understand what the author talks about. For example, on page 68 it says "Category 6 Four twisted wire pairs (eight wires), used for 1000base TX (two pair wiring) and rated for 250MHz." I had a hard time understanding this sentence mainly on two-pair wiring, so I asked Gemini about it and gratefully, it explained this sentence well.If you just want to get an N+ certificate, it might do the work. However, I want to understand every concept related to the exam and networking, and found this book confusing. I do not recommend it to anyone like me. However, it seems not many options out there.
