Vietnam era USMC EGA Iron-On Transfer. There are multiple variations of the famous USMC EGA throughout time, and this is a faithful recreation of the Vietnam era EGA and USMC font that was used from the 1960's through the mid 80's. Available in Black, Yellow, Red (Scarlet), or White. Sold by the sheet, each sheet contains four chest EGA with USMC (for placement on the left chest or pocket) and 4 smaller EGA for utility covers. Chest EGA are 1 7/8" in height and 1 3/4" in width. If you include the USMC underneath the EGA, the total height is 3 1/4" and the width of the USMC lettering is 3 3/4". These are new made but we have included a photo with a vintage Ken Nolan placement guide to help demonstrate they ARE regulation size. Perfect for OG-107's, Jungle Fatigues, ERDL's, Field Jackets, etc. Priced per sheet of four large and four small transfers. The best results are achieved by using a heat press to apply these transfers. An iron can be used, but it takes a little more effort. PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Set iron to 370 degrees 2. Preheat area with iron 3. Apply transfer to garment 4. Apply FIRM pressure for 10 seconds 5. Peel carefully while HOT. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LONG LIFE 1. Machine wash warm using mild detergent 2. Lay flat or hang to dry 3. Do not bleach 4. Do not dry clean 5. Do not iron directly onto transfer area after applied. TROUBLESHOOTING AND HINTS: These transfers are best applied by a heat press vs iron. They also work best on cotton vs synthetic fabrics. For better results, preheat the fabric before attempting to apply the transfer. If the garment has been washed, rub the area with a small amount of alcohol to ensure that there is no detergents, softener, etc in the fabric.
