Pretty solid budget combo.Nothing flashy but good bang for the buckIf upgrading from an older gen intel take note, these 12th gens get hot and liquid cooling is almost a must to get the full potential out of it for gaming the motherboard temps arent the best but definitely not the worst so long you manage decent case pressure and ventilation

Micro center took the worries out of the equation.Mother Board: This Board is good for any tier setup. Multiple M.2 Slots and or PCIE Slots with a main M.2 slot that won't take away from you GPU.CPU: 12t Gen is a good Gen to stay away from the overheating issues even if just using air cooling. Still great in Mid tier PC setups and runs well.

I bought this with a bunch of new parts for a new PC build reusing my video card and hard drives. Product arrived on time. A plus for Amazon. I proceeded to build the new PC with the hopes that it would just fire right up. That wasn't meant to happen, I guess. Pushed the power button. Nothing. No fans, lights, just nothing. Checked the cables. Nothing. Started removing parts one by one. Nothing. Even went as far as trying reseating the CPU and cooler. Nothing. Had a friend try this board in a known working system. Nothing. Tried another CPU. You guessed it. Nothing. I am a big fan of MSI boards, but this experience really turned me off from them. I returned it and am awaiting a refund. Bought another bundle from Micro Center and it's working fine. I do not blame Micro Center at all. It's not their fault. Just be weary that the new MSI board might not be what they used to be.

This motherboard is a powerhouse , there is so much you can adjust on to make your system even faster . I added in the Intel I-7 14700 processor to it and the combo makes it very quick , less time booting and opening up programs or tabs . I would suggest to load up the software which has the control center and other programs in it from the MSI disc . The control center takes care of a few things you will need to set up , like cooling , RGB lighting and so forth . I also install the max speed memory on this board and the onboard M1 storage which also makes it fast to respond . Theres alot more you can add for storage if you want , Im running 1 terabyte in storage , so thats up to you . Very happy with this MOBO .

Solid buy, easy to install

I was thinking kits came with a CPU fan. Didn't say it did, I just took it for granted. Just got it installed yesterday after having to order a CPU fan. Quick and had no problems with it. Booted right up.

it works. had some hiccups, but got win 11 installed w/ 64 GB ram, will upgrade later. bios is great, tpm already enabled. had problems w/wireless the wifi 6 adapter was not seen. after a reboot, the adapter came up and works fine.
