A Sketch Pad That Survived My 6-Year-Old’s Artistic Chaos
As a parent, I’ve seen my fair share of art supplies come and go—usually into the abyss of destruction known as my 6-year-old son. So when I bought this sketch pad, I fully expected it to meet the same tragic fate as others before it: doodled on, torn apart, and possibly “used” as a cape. But this sketch pad? Oh, it’s built different.First, the pages are thick enough to handle every artistic tool my son could get his hands on: markers (the permanent kind I hid but he found), crayons, glitter glue (don’t ask), and even a smear of peanut butter. Nothing bled through. NOTHING. The couch is safe.Second, the spiral binding doubles as a fidget toy. While I anticipated it getting twisted into an unrecognizable shape, it’s still intact, spinning like a champ every time he gives it a whirl.Third, the size is perfect for his "abstract masterpieces." Whether it’s a velociraptor riding a skateboard or a family portrait that makes me look like a potato with legs, he has enough space to unleash his creativity without getting frustrated.Bonus: It's sturdy enough to double as a shield during sibling "pencil wars."10/10 would recommend to anyone raising the next Picasso—or a professional chaos creator.P.S. If you’re wondering: yes, I’m already on my second one. The first is taped to his bedroom wall in what he calls “The Museum of Awesomeness.”
