I am very pleased with the overall quality of this product (Brushed-Nickel Fixture - 2-Pack). My installation is direct-wired so I did not use the included cords and covers. The wall/fixture cover plate easily conceals a standard nominal 2" x 4" old work or new work single-gang electrical outlet box. The provided mounting plate provides secure mounting to the outlet box and allows for adequate placement/orientation for leveling the fixture.(I did read some of the reviews that claimed that the wall/fixture cover plate did not fully-cover the outlet box and that the mounting plate did not align with the outlet box mounting screw holes, however, they may have used a different size outlet box other than a standard 2" x 4" nominal single-gang box.) If you use the outer-most circular mounting slots and place a standard #6-32 x 1" long wiring device machine mounting screw (same size screws that are provided with standard wiring devices such as receptacles/switches) in the outer slots, adjacent to the threaded studs provided for fixture cover plate mounting, that protrude from the mounting plate at the top and bottom of the plate - you will find that the screws will line-up perfectly with the single-gang box device/fixture mounting screw holes.If you are not familiar with basic residential electrical wiring/fixture installation then I suggest you consult with a friend/family member who is proficient along these lines or have the lighting fixtures professionally-installed. Also, you will need basic tools and a drill and correctly-sized drill bits for some applications - especially when mounting the lamps directly to a wall using the cords/plugs - so, yes the installation of these lamps does require some degree of mechanical/electrical basic installation/assembly prowess.As final notes, the shades and the shade mounting harps for the model/color fixture I ordered were of very good quality and the shade mounting stud at the top of the harp does provide for adjustment in leveling the shade by grasping the harp and using pliers to tilt the shade stud retainer as necessary. The 3-way switches provided on the units I received operate normally and I installed 40/60/100 Watt LED Soft White Lamp Bulbs. Lamps function very well and look great.Very satisfied with these lamps and would definitely recommend.

Overall, I’m pleased with the appearance and build quality of this lamp, although it’s not exactly a first-rate product. But, for the money, it serves my purpose. The issue I have is with the mounting plate - not only does it not fit flush against the wall (the mounting screws inexplicably protrude away from the plate, causing the plate not to be flush). Also, the mounting screws are too long, so that it’s impossible to get the lamp to tighten snugly against the mounting plate, leaving a wobble in the light. This is the problem with a lot of things made in China - they’re designed and manufactured by companies that don’t really use their own products, so they have a poor understanding of how they actually work (or don’t, in this case). After a little fiddling around with extra wooden shims and braces, I got the lamp to install, but it was not exactly an easy experience.

I ordered this light to put on each side of my T.V above my fireplace. We keep the lights on all of the time. It is soft so that it can be a good safe way to go into my den at night. I am thinking about getting a set for my dinning room. More to come latter.

I think these lamps are great for the price, but the cord covers didn't come in the box. Not sure what to do about that.

The installation instructions called for a 1/4 in drill to mount the lamp into sheet rock. This created too large of hole and the sleeves sank into the sheet rock. Once a correct diameter hole was drilled, the lamp was installed quickly. Could have been a product of my ineptness, but I can usually follow instructions. I chose not to use the lamp shade provided as it seemed flimsy. Otherwise, happy with the lamp.

This was a fantastic light, when it worked. However, the switch broke a long time ago, and I don't know how to fix it. Where can I get another switch? I suppose that I'll have to order another light someday. Maybe I'll reach out to the company to see what they can do.

Like the lamp overall but two things: the backplate is a joke up against a wall. I'm sure it works great with a junction box. Second, if mounting into drywall without a stud behind it use a drill bit smaller than 1/4" for the pilot holes for the drywall anchors. 1/4" as called for in the instructions is too big for the anchors to get a good grip on the drywall when trying to screw in the screws.

Very easy to install. Delivery was excellent. Very happy with the product.

Intenté abrirlo para revisar la falla yo mismo, y no encontré como desarmarlo, al menos de manera rápida y amigable, y no pretendo dedicarle mucho tiempo. Falló la calidad - no es fácil pedir garantía - no es fácil arreglarlo uno mismo.

So far so good. This wall lamp can be plugged in or hardwired to an electrical box.As always, I only use more substantial wall anchors. (do yourself a favor and use EZAncor drywall anchors ,or similar, unless you find a stud)Installation took 30 minutes tops. The 3 way bulb works as it should. I will substitute a 3 way LED bulb later. (LED bulbs just get better and better)The swing arms are stiff but they should be.The description says ‘transitional’ I imagine they meant to say ‘traditional’ Otherwise the instructions are exceptionally clear.

It is stylish and gives it a good lighting with low, medium and high.Would recommend this Lamp.
